  • Firstly, the error message "No Boot Device Available" indicates that the server is unable to find a bootable device to load the operating system. This can happen due to a variety of reasons, including incorrect BIOS or UEFI settings, hardware failure, or corrupted system files. We show you what happened to one of our clients and how we fixed the issue quickly!
One possible solution is to check the BIOS or UEFI settings and ensure that the boot order is set correctly. The boot order determines which device the server attempts to boot from first. You may need to change the boot order to prioritize the device that contains the operating system.
If the boot order is correct, you can try resetting the CMOS or BIOS settings to their default values. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions when doing this, as it can vary depending on the model of the server.
If resetting the CMOS or BIOS settings does not work, you may need to replace the hard drive, RAID set, or other hardware components that are causing the issue. You can also try reinstalling the operating system or using a bootable USB drive to repair the system files but you may lose data.
Overall, fixing the "No Boot Device Available" issue with CMOS error UEFI0034 and UEFI0130 on a Dell PowerEdge server can be a complex process that requires careful troubleshooting and attention to detail. If you are not comfortable performing these steps on your own, it may be best to seek professional assistance from a certified technician.

Summary: Thank you! Mine was the opposite though. It was set to UEFI and I changed it to BIOS and it worked.
Mine wouldn't POST after a storm. Out of desperation I pulled the CMOS battery and put it back in. It then POSTed fine, but couldn't find the hard drive. Once I found your video I figured it was worth a try to set it the other way and it worked. I guess the default is UEFI mode. Thanks again!

1:32 to me, not only setting up the time again, but changing settings back to RAID and actually changing the battery. It was damaged.
So, guys, if changing back the BIOS settings didn't solve it for you, check the motherboard battery too. Hope this helps somebody else or future me.
