Finally the first guy to say it's ok to have a sled with a scratch on it and not need to upgrade to the next 25k sled the next year. That's a sick sled, always like Carl attitude anyways. you can always hear in his voice he's a no bullshit guy. Be happy to see more of this in action. 👍👍👍👍👍👍💣💥💥
Ha, if you seen my sleds up close...you might admire my talent to color match duct tape and zip ties to hold the "non structural" parts back on LOL
Thinking this is a hint to a 925 big bore mod from Doo to compete with the 9R?
Sick build Carl, that motor sounds like it has some torque!
Stock Summit 154 3” was 530 ish on snowest podcast, so that is incredible!!!
Awesome job !!!
Sounds right, they probably have a "fancier" scale. Our sled was 532lbs so we are in the ball park.
👍🏻 Nice work! Keep doing vids like this.
Glad you liked it!
now we're talkin'!!! so sick!
Thanks!
Needs to ride with Muskoka freerider and his mod sled would be an epic ride
Probably won’t happen! Carl , Rob or some skidoo ambassadors don’t like muskoka riding Revy
Can't dangle with him.. 100%
@@jeremyjensen2986 Why?
@@208SledHead i don’t know, muskoka mentioned it in one of the first videos of the season. He said he may do a podcast and discuss what happend
Great start👍…………keep going!!!
What a great combo man and machine great build
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Always nice to watch, nice job ck,
Such a cool sled build! Shelley is gonna be ripping on that thing
Epic!
Skidoo take notes this is were you need to go
Hell yeah!
Hmm I am debating turning my 175 NA into a 925. I almost think a 175 should be a turbo though.
Turbsky! You won't regret it.
@@nt3523 I already have 2. was thinking something different.
It depends on what you want to do with it...175" N/A lightweight is a personal favorite if you enjoy snooping in tech areas with short (or long) climbs with very little run in.
Turbo's work great as well.. but if it really tight woods then they don't necessarily get to stretch there legs...
Turbos really shine at higher elevations but they are heavy!
@@FordManiac76 They are not really that much heavier but that spinning turbo definitely adds to the feel due to its gyroscopic effect.
Don’t hurt yourself. It’s not a video game
For a more direct weight comparison, what is the weight of a “ready to ride*” Summit 850 NA 165”?
We will get a 165" N/A on the scale and get back to you.
Basass sick sled Carl
What kind of hp does it produce?
481lb is definitely not a lightweight. 381 would be light! 481 is barely off of stock weight and you could achieve that for free by running light on oil, light on fuel.
That’s full of everything tho and ready to ride!
@@MountainStandardTimeWithLandon Okay, I retract my statement, wet weight is pretty impressive then considering that's like 60lbs of fuel at least!
40 lbs lighter kinda?
On our hanging scale (good quality/not for trade) we shed about 51lbs.
@@CarlKusterMountainPark nice, complete modlist?
So sick!!! Hmmmmm…..2026 Skidoo 925cc from the Factory….?? 🤔🤫🫨
The 925 is an aftermarket mod package. I think you may be holding your breath for a while on a factory build... the 850 N/A is defiantly a reliable, powerful and well sorted setup for the large majority of folks...but...you can always ask for more:)
@ we need something from skidoo that is going to be in the same category as the 9R! 🧐
The doo 850 already hangs with the 900, the turbo R absolutely eats the boost hands down. So Polaris will release a 9r boost before it’s ready and it will be a complete disaster like everything else they push out the door.
