After Karuizawa I decided to stop in Takasaki. It's where shinkansen line splits to Joetsu Shinkansen and Nagano Shinkansen lines. I walked from the station to Takasaki castle remains. Nice parks but not much remained from the castle. One of such parks has birds cages. And found one cat. I also went down to the river with good sunset view.

Filmed in UltraHD 4K 60p with Lumix GH5 camera, 8-18 f2.8-4 lens, Beholder EC1 stabilizer and Audio-Technica AT9946CM mic.

Sooo nostalgic! I lived in Gunma 2013-2015 and walked hundreds of times through Takasaki Station. Can't wait to go back to visit!
I miss Takasaki so much, seeing this video is so nostalgic! I recognized so many places in this video it felt like I was back again.

A friend of mine used to live near Takasaki, she was in Tamamura as she attended the women's university there. She moved to Saitama prefecture after graduating though and we've not been in touch for many years now. Anyhow, another lovely video, keep up the good work :)

I had watched a video about another Gunma town which led me to a most disappointing trip to Japan. Nevertheless, I have learned a valuable lesson not to trust every video blindly. Well done! I was surprised to see a little bakery with the same breads we find at Mexican panaderias (bakeries) in my region of San Diego, CA just by Mexico and Tijuana. We get those same types of breads all the time.
