So 1970s. Im a kid again as I rode in many Station wagons at that time and they all had various earth tone colours in their interiors. I wish you had shown us how it looked like. Rare to see one in such good & clean condition.
We had a 1975 LTD Country Squire ours was fully equipped it also had the SuperSoft Vinyl that came with the Landau Luxury group ours was dark green interior and Light lemon yellow green yeah that’s what it was called I don’t know the paint code numbers I was 10 when my parents bought it at West Suburban Elmhurst Ford Elmhurst illinois
Most came with the Windsor 400 if you do come across a 460 it probably is equipped with the H.D. Trailering tow package which was pricey at the time but came with a lot of goodies Oh Yeah too many too list but worth it in those days if you could afford it our salesman was too honest about the specifications my Dad wanted the trailer towing because we had a Travel Trailer and some times he would pull a Two horse trailer because he use too ride and engage in a little horse trading but again the trailering group you got dual exhaust but the salesman killed the deal when he told my Mom your going to use more fuel because of the lower Ratio for Towing and your going to lose the famous LTD luxury BLVD ride it’s going to ride like a F/150 truck my no Mom did not want to give up that luxury car ride so the car
Some onteresting information, top speed for the 460 model was 116 mph, 0-60 was rated at 11.4 seconds and 0-100 was rated at 36.8. And they had a curb weight of 5134 lbs. Geez! Quarter mile time of 18.3 seconds @ 78 mph too, talk about a slow boat 😁😁😁
Epa rated fuel mileage was 10 mpg combined. They could get up to 14 on the highway. The tank in this car should be 21 gallons. Which would give you about 150 miles between refills if you don't push it.
It must have 460 in it, all your old Fords and Lincoln's have a 460 in it with low mileage there's a reason no mileage suddenly stopped creeping up cuz gas prices doubled people parked them and started driving something else and then later when that they die and the kids want some fancy $90,000 electric car they sell the grandparents car

What a beauty.
I have been eyeing Country Squires for a while now. Just a matter of finding the one to add to my collection.
I want that car. My dad had one in the cream color, what a car.

10 gallons? That will be gone really quick. Those old cars could really suck some fuel down
