Interesting thing I recently learned about onions: When you slice an onion in half you can light a match and hold or wave it slowly over the two halves to burn off the irritant that causes your eyes to tear. Effectively disarming the onion in a couple of seconds. My mom had stopped using a particular kind of onion because of its powerful affect and my sister bought one and showed us that trick. Worked like a charm. My dad tried it himself while I was out of town for a Doctor's appointment and said a lighter works too.
I remember listening to the vampire roomate 3 years ago but lost track of the channel. Glad i found this channel again and the story is still ongoing, gotta binge it as soon as i can.
I'm commited to this series. Listened to it at least twice so far.. Best Audio series I've heard, love it to bits. I can't wait for more episodes since it's both fang'tastic and divine. ;) I hope this audio series becomes a TV show one of these days. Thanks for all your hard work @Urban Nymph!
Ayy! More of our favourite bloodsucking roommate turned girlfriend turned wife is always a good thing. The amber burning out really is hitting me with a sense of inevitability. The angel stuff won't be containable forever. It's only gonna get more powerful. Maybe our lovely vamp can help by drinking away excess power? Although the registry might have some issues with that.
It feels like NOT using the powers lead to all the weird stuff happening. The pendant seems to be some sort of storage medium for overflowing energy and it already looks like it has cracks. So, the pendant is just a temporary solution which will fail sooner rather than later. At least that's my theory so far but it's been a while since I listened to the whole series... so take that with a grain of salt :D
