I think that after so many years Grumps fans should know by now Arin just do whatever the fuck he likes in the games ignoring the rules of said games. He doesn't read instructions, he ignores tips, the guy is just a whatever the hell I want guy.
Okay, but in his defense Pokemon is often completely nonsensical in terms of what types are good against what and what Pokemon are of what types. I don't blame him that much for not knowing something so pointless and trivial.
Pointless?, i mean the whole metagame is about knowing wich type is weak or strong against other, thats how you win the fucking game, how is that pointless?

But they probably wont find out.
Take off the hover boots!
ARIN: has best electric pokemon
ALSO ARIN: I don't know what's good against water/flying
I died inside watching Arin look at his healing items, ignore them, and walk in to fight the champion
Is it bad that the ending was everything I hoped for?
I can't believe Arin actually owned up to making a mistake for once.
You guys could've just, y'know, looked up the type charts beforehand...
He knows. He even said at the end. He's just stupid.
+Paul Allen To be fair, Lance said he used Dragon type only, so it would confuse new players when he used a Gyrados in his DRAGON ONLY team.
This is my favorite episode of the entire series. This makes all the misplays and waiting worth it. Congrats on this amazing video guys.
I don't think gyarados is weak against anything... Fucking really...
they are so fuckimg retarded
they are normal, you are just a memelord who enjoys pokemon a little over the top.
They're probably thinking that it's a water and dragon type, which it was in the original Japanese version.
He has 2 weaknesses pretty easy to forget what they are. Also at least they aren't pretending to be amazing at it. So grow up. God I hate the Internet sometimes.
+lasarousi it's one of the basic matchups tho electric beats wage even the largest of scrub memes know this
"I Never" will see the end of this playthrough
Arin could've used a full heal on Zapdos before the battle with Claarff!
That's what I was thinking!
Guys, we don't watch these videos to watch masterful play. We watch them to be amused. Arin losing and then immediately realizing his mistake is the best thing. It's pure game grumps, I love it.
Not using twinneedle on alakazam made me so angry
I am so happy they didn't beat Claarf here I don't want this playthrough to end already
Would you rather it end or watch him fight the elite four over and over again?
yes
So far only Dan is watching him fight them over and over and over again. We are only watching him attempt the latest opponent has has reached so far.
I'd rather watch them fight the elite four over and over again and watch them lose their minds.
+masso.10 this
...Gyarados isn't a dragon-type... plz m8, plz
Yes is but nice try
+Meme guy 6969 No it's not. It's Water/Flying. But nice try.
+Caterwhaul guirados no es guater/fly. Es dragon. Gogle it!
+Pikaboss oooh I gogle it. Say guirados dragon but agua/fly typo. I am confuse. Aren no es pokémon maestro >:(
***** es ok m8, gogle iz a crool mischriss
The fact that Arin humiliated himself in Pokemon in front of his parents makes this even funnier.
"Dragon types are hard!!" Good thing Gyarados is a Water/Flying type and has double weakness against thunder
when arin wins but he uses a special pursuit instead of a physical twineedle
Ikr, to those who might bash this fellow, all dark
Moves including pursuit were all special attack before 4th gen
+Sol that's weird.
u can literally hear arins soul leaving his fucking body when bundt, dies
2022 and I still haven't fully recovered from this video
Only Arin has the chance to go out like a Champion beating Alakazam with Beedril and uses Pursuit
wow.
i've been watching this series for 3 years for this disappointment.
unforgivable.
Unforgivable. It's really pathetic you take some guys playing pokemon on youtube so serious. Get a life.
This is the perfect comment
+LevityMire why do you take TH-cam so seriously?
DicksMagoo Is that what you took from my comment? Unforgivable.
LevityMire Did you really just copy the original comments ending?
unforgivable.
Tips:Mr.Mart IS NOT psychic type
U know this already but twin needle would have killed the alakazam Lastly, these are ur teams type weaknesses:
Bundt, Weak to psychic, rock, flying, and fire
Greg weak to rock, and ice
Blupl is weak to rock X4 which means it will just about one shot him and blupl's also weak to electric, steel, fire, and nothing else
Lomster is weak to rock X4 again, electric, and water
Mr.Mart is only weak to grass and electric
Last but not least, knurttt is only weak to fighting hope this helped u 😉
Print this out and stick it to Arin's forehead
bug is resistant to psychic, so Bundt isn't weak to it.
If that was true, that last Psychic wouldn't have been super effective, but it was.
+Whirlwhind1 beedrill is part poison which is weak to psychic types
+Whirlwhind1 that's because Buntd, is bug poison type and poison is weak to psychic
I FUCKING LOST IT LMAO
this is probably the best grumps episode I've seen in a while!
I think this is my favorite game grumps episode ever.
Am I the only one who is pissed off by arin's lack of knowledge of types and type matchups?
I think that after so many years Grumps fans should know by now Arin just do whatever the fuck he likes in the games ignoring the rules of said games. He doesn't read instructions, he ignores tips, the guy is just a whatever the hell I want guy.
I think it makes the experience better because it shows how both of them are learning and making mistakes
"Arin is a loose cannon gamer that doesn't play by the ruuuuuuuuules and instructioooooons..."
It makes it way funnier
Not at all we get at least one more FireRed episode now
arin pretending he knows what hes doing is hilarious.
Other people trying to defend him and his antics are even moreso
i know, right? He was fighting gyarados and said Dragon types are hard.
he also said gyardos was a dragon type wich made my inner nerd want to punch something
"Greg is paralyzed "
"What will Greg do?"
Greg: I dunno... be paralyzed for the rest of my life?
Knurttt! YOU FUCKERS YOU KILLED HIM!!! WHY?!!?!
...god damnit Arin.
I just imagined a really buff Rattata getting shot by flamethrower and deflating like a balloon
Hollow Tim Yep. I'm not surprised or mad. Par for the course.
