No doubt. Everything after 1996 is a Thomas/Guy sample. :) Although, I don't think Justice and Daft are the same, as some people like to debate. Xavier made a great comment once about the comparison. I like both of 'em a lot, but I'd say more of Daft's stuff.
Of course, electronic music is filled by samples but the problem start when you use a sample and don´t pay for it... I sample too, using a mpc 1000 (akai) & I love it! but I can't register my songs because of the copyright (in Spain using samples is like killing someone...jej) I enjoy reading your coments man!
you are right, but...last week (or 2 weeks) justice has recognized that their album "cross" contains more than 400 samples of other artists, I respect them but prefering dafts ones!
Well you know house music is all sampled. Plus, they both play instruments, so they aren't cutting and pasting their whole album. 400 samples probably just means they put more work into it. Most house artists just use 5 or 6 loops and then add drum samples.
Never compare Justice to Daft Punk... They are both different sub-genres... I prefer Daft Punk but Justice are a great band too... Daft Punk are much better live than Justice XD Especially the old sets, those kick Justice's ass any day... LOL... Justice is still good anyways...
Not a big fan of the type of show Justice puts on live. I'd rather look at a Pyramid with an amazing lightshow that just a glowing cross and some strobes.
i was hooked after the first few bass thumps.
