- Today we will talk about #Gopalganjdistrict. This district is situated on the west bank of the Gandak river. If you look at the history of the city, it has been the center of the Chero kings in the medieval times and during the British, this home district of Bihar's most famous former chief minister and former railway minister Lalu Yadav is known for its historical religious and cultural identity. Thave temple comes first
This temple is the most famous tourist destination of Gopalganj. It is said that the Durga temple located here was built by the Hathuva king. Near the temple is a cross shaped tree. The botanical classification of this tree has not yet been done. There is a very popular folklore about the temple that there used to be a true devotee of Mother Durga named Rahshu, whom the King Manan Singh challenged to call the goddess by pretending to be a pretender. Rahsu pleaded with the king that if the goddess would come here, the kingdom would be ruined, but the king did not give up his stubbornness. Finally, being compelled to join the prayer of Rahshu Devi, she came there and started praising him for having a vision. On her call, Devi walked from Kamakhya to Thave via Kolkata, Patna and Aami. All the buildings of the palace collapsed and the king died as soon as the goddess arrived. There is a grand temple which is famous as the temple of Mata Thavewali, where the deity appeared. There is also a temple of Rahshu Bhagat at a short distance. It is also believed that those who come to visit #MataThavewali definitely go to the temple of Rahu Bhagat. Without this, their worship is considered incomplete. The ruins of Manan Singh's buildings are still present near this temple.
The second is the #ShreePitambaraPeeth, one of the famous Shaktipeeths, the #MataBangalamukhiTemple situated in Kuchayakot place is situated as the #PitambaraPeetha.This temple established by Maharishi Shivananda Paramahansa is the center of the devotees who wish to mitigate the hostile conquest, including enemy victory Is

It is said to be a village which has two mounds of pyramid shape. Each of these mounds is of a pyramid shape, on the basis of which the four corners are projected outwards, so that one of these mounds is grounded. The plan looks like a forward star centered by a cone. These mounds appear to be made of clay, but mixed with small pieces of brick and pottery. These ancient and extraordinary pyramidal dunes are said to have been built by the Chero king ruling here.
Then comes #Hussepur
This village in Gopalganj district was earlier the center of activities of Hathuva Maharaj. Here is a fort built by Hathuva Maharaj on the banks of the waterfall which has taken the form of ruins. There are 14 small dunes in the eastern part of the fort. It is said that here, the wife of King Basant Shahi, along with her 13 Tens, sacrificed her deceased husband's head by keeping it in his lap.
Next is the #wooddargah
Here is the tomb of the Muslim saint Arjan of Patna, on which very fine workmanship of wood has been done. He is said to have been attracted by the serene environment here and he settled here and he had a 40-day shout or religious meditation. He also established a religious establishment, which was endowed by Emperor Aurangzeb. The saint's death anniversary is celebrated every year on the 11th date of Rabi-un-sani, which attracts a large crowd.

It is a block of this district, #JahaShiwala and Ramgarh are two places. There is a famous temple of Lord Shiva in Shivala. It is said about Ramgarhwa that it was the capital of King Bhurishva during the Mahabharata period. King Bhurishva was the 14th commander of the Kauravas during the war of Mahabharata. Excavations at this place still find ancient ruins and objects of palaces. It is believed that this place was named Bhora after King Bhurishva.
#ThaweMahotsav is organized in the district every year, in which many artists from different states of the country come and give a grand performance. A huge fair is also held in Thave temple during the month of Chait.
