really glad to see you two back at it again ...good looking metal framed shaft ... would use two-way radios for that communication for top side ....very impressive you got her and the chair down there .... but seeing her go up SRT by herself was super impressive .....good job ....
She is an amazing climber, and an excellent rope jockey. Moving all the pieces was quite a feat, and I made more trips up and down those ladders than what is shown 😅 But all worth it! Thanks Jeff!
I wanna say that this is definitely one of the best video's I've seen, and that girl is badass for going where places where I'm sure most wouldn't even think about.
Absolutely awesome you guys. What a beautiful thing to behold. She is so swesome. Fantastic to see you both out and exploring abandoned mines again. Superb and inspiring.
Great to see you guys back in a mine. That shaft had a lot of metal structure which was cool. Don’t know how you do it without gloves. Keep up the great mine exploring.
Wow! I must say, this is a truly inspiring experience! First off, that's an adventure exploring that mine and descending that vertical shaft. Second, after watching this video, you got a new sub! I learned what had happened to your friend, and she is truly unstoppable! Keep up the the great work!
@RustandDustExploration thank you! That stunt wasn't the most prudent decision with using equipment, but that mine's stopes are massive, and I figured, "Let's do it!" Lol
It is crazy how deep some of them go! We've stood at the collar of some shafts that go thousands of feet deep. I simply cannot imagine trying to rappel and extract from such a place 😄 This one was a lot of fun though. Thanks for checking it out!
Back once again with the rust and dust masters, wheelchair damager with the ill behaviour. Your friend just cookin up some snacks for lunch on his way down 😂 That was a pretty cool mine, you could start your own salt lamp company. You ever wonder if you explorer comes down after you guys and wonders why there are wheelchair tracks, and if it was a disabled friendly workplace? Sorry dude but I have to agree with her, she should cut them off, but only so she can get robot legs and take over the world (I've got your back oh mighty cyborg queen empress lady). It's always good to have you back, I was thinking about you guys a couple of days ago and wondering how you're both getting on, take care and look after yourselves.
The cyborg queen empress lady appreciates your support. Haha, we have definitely discussed robot legs quite a few times now. You make a really good point about the tracks she leaves behind, that has to be confusing for the next guy. Glad you've kept up with our videos all this time, Dave!
Rusty, Sunshine, so good to see you both again. I look every day for your next video. No mic on Sunshine? I am sure it is just a coincidence Sunshine.was not speaking dolphin language today😂. Thank you for all the work you did for the video. Keep those legs Sunshine. Someday you will want to burry your shoe in the kester of that harness manufacturer😏. I have ordered my second “ Rust and Dust” T-shirt. It’s taking a while to receive it, this is not a problem. I’ m glad your merch is doing so good. Videos of your athletic coipition where you leave the competitors in the “ Dust” would go over great, and a lot safer. Looking forward to your next show.
I do not know why but for some strange reason, TH-cam or whatever keeps unsubscribing me all the time and I can never find the videos unless I search for you directly
That's actually a pretty good guess. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this mountain range did have a refinable amount of sodium tetraborate. The information on the mines in this region is unusually scarce. I know that at the present time, rockhounds hunt a crystal called aragonite close by, but that's clearly not what the mine was for. There were also attempts to quarry limestone in the immediate vicinity, but they were not particularly profitable ventures (and you don't need a shaft for limestone, so probably not at all related). It really is strange how little we know about what the workings were for.
you may or may not know this but you're not climbing that ladder right. even though you're roped off, bad technique is never good. you shouldn't hold the rungs with your hands hold it by the sides as much as possible and get used to doing it the way I described.
Climbed ladders every weekday for seven years straight, sometimes a few stories up, others just hanging off the side of a high-rise. I think I'll be alright.
@@RustandDustExploration not sure you're getting the point guy. You can get away with it with new ladders or steel ones, but old handmade ladders present a different danger. No offense but you've been doing it incorrectly all your life then. The reasoning behind what I say is simple. What happens when the rung you grab breaks? What if you're not tied off? Why risk it? I'm simply passing common knowledge to you. It's all good man, be careful.
@@oubliette862 Haha, no worries mate. I sometimes do the navy style climb, but I've had enough practice that I just go with what I'm feeling. We've climbed dozens of ladders in mines, and had enough cuts from jagged metal and slivers from old wood to make us think twice about the side hold. Honestly though, on the third time climbing all the way to the top of this shaft (not shown in the video) I was holding the outside rails just because my forearms were so tired from pull climbing 😅

Thanks, man! I saw one of your videos earlier this week. I was pretty impressed how you maneuvered a drone through a stope.
@RustandDustExploration thank you! That stunt wasn't the most prudent decision with using equipment, but that mine's stopes are massive, and I figured, "Let's do it!" Lol
I tend to like the deeper mine shafts and mines than the shallower ones. Nice find!!

I've missed yal! You're an inspiration! I'm disabled now but i can walk. If you're able to go 150' underground in a wheel chair, i can keep going too!
She is always pushing the boundaries, and I feel lucky to be along for the ride. Glad to hear you're pushing through it too!
@@RustandDustExploration I look forward to seeing more videos! Yal are very admirable!

Thanks for always checking back to see the videos!
Very cool!
That’s a really good looking ladder
It was, for the most part, great to climb. The metal cover at the top seems to have preserved it well.
She looks like a musclehead lol great to see you dont be a stranger so long
Haha, she always gets comments on how "jacked" her shoulders look now days 😄
I do not know why but for some strange reason, TH-cam or whatever keeps unsubscribing me all the time and I can never find the videos unless I search for you directly
TH-cam can definitely be strange sometimes, but I'm glad you found this video. We were pretty proud of this find.
cool find next time mic her up I miss her sexy voice.
I think that it is a borax mine
