Steve Hendee was among the team of musicians, engineers and recording enthusiasts who first opened the ART doors back in 1984. Today, Steve is Yorkville Sound’s Director of Sales in the US. Steve speaks with Ray Wilson, Yorkville’s current Recording Specialist and Canadian National Sales Manager about ART’s evolution, key products and how the brand grew in to somewhat of a cult following among recording studio and hobbyists to this day.

There are a few ART products in regular use here at Studio RD, some older, and some more recent. Each has found its way into the regular workings of the studio, right from tracking voices and instruments, converting rare vintage vinyl analog and tape sources, to side chaining or inserting specific effects and adding character to individual tracks or mixes! Nice to see you guys again...in spite of the distances and the distancing!
