I think the worst part is when one person out of the lovers pairs dies. Someone shared the audio on TH-cam of it and it is heart wrenching. So when either Chandlo or Snorpy dies, the others reaction is heart breaking, when either Triff or Wambus dies the others reaction is heartbreaking and when either Wiggle or Gramble dies it's heartbreaking

I love how the endings are "take it or leave it" You can finish the game faster by not doing side quests, however, they won't be able to defend themselves because of hunger and you'll have to do all the dirty work. It may take a little longer to do the side quests, but this will ensure that everyone is well fed and strong enough to fend off the bugsnax.
Actually speedrunners don't do any of the side quests, so they pretty much skip the entire game. But in the end, it's faster to save all the Grumpses so they end up saving them anyways!
Just finished the game myself and didn't do half the sidequests because the game was kinda iffy once you've been in every area and I got tired of the game it was still easy as fuck and I got the good ending
actually, i don't think they don't defend because of hunger, they are fully transformed so they should be just as well fed as in the normal route, they just don't have enough will to live they think whats the point of leaving if I could just live here and become bugsax, also they are so addicted to bugsnax at this point they can't resist eating them, I think they fight in the good route tho because they now have some sort of purpose in life after you complete their sidequest (sorry for the paragraph lol)

However, if you did nothing to help them and then do nothing during the battle, then they'll perish without failure. Feeding them Bugsnax beforehand really only changes how long they'll last if you didn't complete all side quests, so if you did everything to help them, they'll survive no matter how many tasty creatures you fed them. Don't worry about feeding them what they want during side quests, they'll be fine.

I actuly wasnt expecting the ending to take the turn it did like the game was all cutecy and then the end feels a little dark. like for the entire game you basicly think that you are ment to turn everyone compleatly into sanx but once you find out its a bad idea makes me feel bad for feeding everyone. actuly really supprised me how much i ended up likeing this and that twist just makes it even better

There is a secret ending: bounce egg off the mountain once you meet her. When it crashes you know when it worked. Go back and you will see a message. Go back again and egg wont be there.
The bad ending should be that your about to escape then when mothza supreme come lizbert and eggable don,t come and mothza supreme knocks you of the boat then filbo shouts buddy and looks at you wall you fall
