My manual reads while holding the P5 button I’m to the press the P6 and look for 2 divisional difference, like from the ordinate reading. Leading me to think I should see little to no swing on the needle. Yet, in your video the needle goes back to zero, far left and is used from that reading for indication of two divisions. This leaves me puzzled. My base voltage, pin 1, and 8, is the only thing off calibration BTY. From 150 it’s reading 165 and higher. H600A. I used a good old high quality analog meter. Again, thanks for camera focus, clear audio and for heaven sake a steady camera.
Good job! One generic question. How is a gas test different from a grid leak test, or a shorts test. Aren't they all , except for shorts test, measuring emissions of grid elements where there should be none?
From the original manual. It defines the procedure of 'Gas Test' as a measurement of Grid current in microamps with a maximum of 2ua to be the cutoff. It further states that 2us would be on a calibrated tester, 2 divisions. as the full deflection is 100uA
