    I love your phrase..."getting your fingers trained"...it comes from years of practise, thousands of flowers....you don't even think about it after awhile...if your beginning there is nothing wrong with taking your time...

    My daughter would like a bridal bouquet with magnolia flowers? Would you be so kind as to show some ideas that incorporate these? She also desires her bridal bouquets (8 in total) to have peonies in them. Any ideas for boutonniers would help immensely as well.
    Thank you so very much.

      Hello Julie and thank you very much for taking the time to watch our show! We were looking through our videos and while we didn't find a bouquet with magnolia flowers in it, we did find this video that features a magnolia compote centerpiece. Perhaps it will give you some ideas for how to use them in a design of your choice: th-cam.com/video/l6gpHHKlIFY/w-d-xo.html We also have a bouquet that features peonies and lilacs which you can find here: th-cam.com/video/kLjoJHonmuQ/w-d-xo.html One other thing which might helpful is our playlist on wedding bouquets: th-cam.com/play/PLJbJF6YZAYyKWqasrnMh9HPsmWZ0cSYxy.html Perhaps these ideas will help you plan your floral selections for your daughter's upcoming wedding. We wish you and her the very best and hope all goes smoothly with the preparations. Please have a splendid week with beautiful flowers too!

    Do calla lilly Boutonnieres need to be refrigerated overnight

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's an excellent question, Sue! Callas are long lasting flowers and they can be placed in the cooler, but just watch the temperature as they don't like to be too cold. The key to having them be fresh and long lasting is to make sure they are well hydrated before you design. That way you can be assured of beautiful flowers every time. Thanks so much for stopping by to enjoy our show and we hope to see you again soon. Wishing you all the best and please take care!

    Thank you for your video! Quick question, how far in advance can I make these, I have a large wedding coming up . When a bloom is cut for this type of work how long will it last.

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      These could be made up to 24 hours ahead of time. Given; quality, well hydrated blossoms and stored bagged in a cooler.

      @@FlowerSchool I am in the same situation. I am doing the boutonnieres for my sons wedding. 1 with a real rose; the other 8 with baby's breath in a shotgun shell. How do I store these? Are you referring to like a cello bag. And is it okay to place in a regular refrigerator? Thank you! You have taught me so much!
