Another tip. Use a ball valve and put it on a 79 inch wand or extendable pole. If you use a ball valve use can adjust the pressure simply by using turning it down
I’m glad I watched this video. It got me motivated to get my pump replaced, so that I can start using my unit again. It’s been sitting in my garage for the past four or five years. I’m gonna repair it, change the oil, replace the battery, and service the carburetor. I was almost at the point of getting rid of it. But then I thought about the fact that 4K psi pressure washers are hard to find,...and if you do,...they’re not cheap. To top it off,...I could make some extra 💰 with it.

I have the Magnum Gold 4000 and it does everything I've needed it to do and then some.I have that Lifan [Made In China] engine and after bending a couple of pushrods and tearing up a couple of rockers I ordered replacement rocker arms, pushrods and the pushrod guide plate off of eBay [$14.99 with FREE Shipping] and after a simple install I tightened up the valve clearance a bit more than specs called for and it's quieter and I run it sometimes 4 to 8 hours a day full throttle with no problems.I did however put in synthetic oil after the second oil change.I've owned this one for about 6 years with only one real problem and that was the allen bolt heads popped off of the manifold on the pump and Ace Hardware had the replacement Stainless Steel bolts reasonably priced.I also run Premium gas and Lucas fuel additive to keep everything *Kleen*!I've made a lot of money with this machine and will continue to.

You can use lye mixed in water to remove the grease. Just don’t let it stay on rubber hoses for long time.

How long do the rotating nozzles last? I have the 15 horsepower unit and wonder which rotating nozzle to get as they come in different pressure ratings.

Soap injectors work just as well as doing it with a garden sprayer. And they are much faster. Super Clean and Easy Kleen would make a great duo.
Hi. Nice video. How much hose could I add before I would see a significant drop in pressure? I have job that is about 400' from where I could put the PW. It would be easier to buy more pressure hose than garden hose. TIA

Run your hose from your hot water heater. Get a 55gal drum fill it with water,and build a fire under it.

Some on job dozens cost 2000 bucks to clean. Then again these are million dollar pieces of equipment and the size of a smaller house. I wouldn't do that excavator for no less than 400 if they ain't supplying water.
