The particle generator in Noire is so fun to play with and can get you some amazingly unique sounds with little effort.

Very great! If I watched this PV a little earlier, I bought various felt piano sound sources, tested them, and didn't have to worry about the difference in image. The plug-in sound source introduced first is the best. Thanks for the easy-to-understand comparison.

Noire is by Nils Frahm for Galaxy Instruments (distributed by Native Instruments). Works with the free Kontact player. Samples the Yamaha CFX Grand. My favourite second only to the Garritan Yamaha CFX Grand.

You’re welcome. I just dropped “The Sound Inside”, an album that really features Pianoteq’s felted U2 model. Solo piano, ambient.

@@ImpliedMusic Thanks man, i really apprechiate you taking the time to answer! : ) do you think pianoteq would be the best choice to invest if i would want to get a versatile piano plugin, since it has so many sounds? I am really looking for a felt piano too. I like the spitfire audio jangle box piano too alots, since i hope to be able to get a felted sound out of that one too - with a little bit of tweaking! :D Cheers mate. :)

@@malte2467 i can recommend pianoteq. every track is a different, and i sometimes I wind up using a sampled piano, but my first thought is usually pianoteq.

I've settled on Pianoteq a year ago...after using many sampled pianos. I always feel very limited using a sampled piano...big time. Modartt is always updating and active.

But their felt sounds aren't very good - especially the grand piano felt sounds... to muffled. I have the Stage version, so I can't tweek them either

Noire and Una Corda are created by sampling Nils Frahm's pianos.

Noire is Nihls Frahm's piano by e-instruments I believe

I am using Noire and Woodchester Piano at the moment. Completely in love with these two pianos. Noire is very customizable with lots of dynamic layers as compare to Woodchester, but I like the sound of Woodchester a lot. It would be awesome if they release ver2 with more dynamic layers. Nice video!
