My twin sister always has worn makeup. We're 60. She began at age 15, that was 1979. Well, one day she visited me in a hurry, in an unplanned situation. When she showed up at my doorstep, and I opened the door, I couldn't get over how good she looked. She had whisked her hair up in an unorganized bun and had no makeup on... The first time I'd seen her without makeup in years and years and years. And it was also the first time I had seen her without her hair all fixed up. I stared at her and couldn't believe the beauty of my sister. She gave me a disappointed look like you got to be kidding me and that's what she said to me. Then she scolded me and said how she didn't have time to do her hair and makeup and she couldn't believe that I thought she looked so pretty. Honestly I've never seen my sister look that pretty again because she always has her hair fixed up and has worn makeup ever since. Some people look a whole lot better without trying to make themselves look better. That's just a fact. I just thought of that story when you shared yours on here. I had forgotten that for decades. I wish she would have believed me. But ... Obviously she didn't. How people see themselves is a peculiar thing. My twin sister sees herself as only beautiful with her hair fussed with and makeup on. I want to say something to every woman out there...... If a man tells you or your husband tells you that you look better without makeup, and he says don't wear any, listen to him. 👍 Give him a big hug and kiss and thank him to the day you die. Throw your makeup out, and live happily ever after. And above all ...trust that person when they tell you that you look great, and it's a day that you didn't do anything to yourself. ❤️🙌
Angela,my son was the same way for years and years,but a few months ago God got a hold of him and saved his soul .Praise God ,He is merciful 🙏🙏🙏for yourself son😘❤❤
We all need time alone and have a time when we unwind.Every night I sit on one end of the sofa,one cat on the other end and the other cat on the coffee table.I call us the 3 old ladies watching tv together at night. 😂.Yes and be thankful for our blessings.
Angie I love the talk about be prepared nothing last forever. Good to be reminded about that. It's a blessing when things are going well but you are right they don't last forever. Keep reminding of that at least once a month. That way when it happens we will be calm and ready to handle it no problem 😊😅 Love you ❤ Keep being your beautiful self. Doreen
Yes, "do what matters most!"I need to say that to myself more often! My mom would often say "Rome wasn't built in one day!" Like Chad, I'm the oldest of my siblings & hard on myself. His family history of alcoholism is also a contribiting factor. It's a disease. With God's help all things are possible. I have faith that one day he will be free of his addictions! In God's name, Amen🙏 ❤

Hi Angela yeah I can't give empty compliments either and if they ask I find something nice to say somehow and what I'm mixing up paint colors I do it in my empty pill bottles and covered keep it for painting on something else I know I make a lot of Mucky colors LOL
I have a daughter that I was so happy that I had a daughter because I had two boys. I made clothes for her. We did things together well with my sons as well and I loved her so much then she got involved with man and he didn’t want me in their life so now, I don’t see her. I haven’t seen her for 20 years and she doesn’t talk to me to make him happy so everybody has her problems and you can do your best and still not good enough.

Hey Angela, I saw you hiking up your pants earlier. And I have that same problem! I bought the same shorts from Temu, and they ride down my backside! Otherwise, I love them they’re great! I cannot wear a belt, and I’m just wondering, does it mean the pants are too big, or maybe they’re too small?? I don’t know I got an extra large, and it felt tight at first. I can’t figure out what to do!! Especially, I’m going to the doctor today and I’m planning to try to use my walker. So it could be a big problem!! Yeah, I think I’ll change!😂😂😂❤
😂 no I can't lie and say somebody looks good if I think they don't .It wouldn't enter my mind they look good.I don't like when I see selfies on fb and they don't look good but everybody says they look beautiful.But it's hard to lie bc I think they could look better.Some ppl are allergic to alcohol .The therapist sounded like they needed a therapist.He has a habit.I'm an overeater.And on and off the veg. cart I go.It's just not healthy ,like a chain smoker.Ppl have bad habits but it goes unnoticed bc it doesn't get consumed .Some ppl swear too much or play video games.

Time to teach the grandkids to clean the pool . I had a big pool in my 20 's and remember how much work it was. Make the older kids clean it. 😊

If your son’s father is the alcoholic husband, he may have inherited alcoholism from him.
