Very holistic tutorial, which covered a lot of stuff with lucid explanation. Was particularly after the aspect of correcting lineweights because sometimes autocad lineweights do not come out to be very clear.

Thanks. This is a really useful, well presented method. Good luck to anyone out there trying to work in two different drawing ecosystems.

Did you already have line weights before bringing these into illustrator or did you just distinguish each one by its color?

    Dear Dylan or TH-cam community,
I did my logo in Autocad which is made out of triangles and dots and Arial text. Triangles and dots are filled with solid hatch and text is just a standard text. And the problem that I'm having is when I plot this from auto cad to pdf, I'm getting barely visible lines running horizontally through those solid colors triangles and dots. When I bring them to illustrator the lines are still shown and when you clicked on them, they being shown as separate objects. So for example within on triangle of the same color, there are two or three triangles and when those objects meet, that's where the barely visible line is. The problem is multiplied withing the solid dot. The dot is divided into multiple triangles and when those triangles meet, that's when you see the lines. I tried to follow the tutorial and bring them onto the same layer but this didn't solve it. Did you or anyone run into the same problem and have a solution for it? Thank you
