Lady from Chungking (1942) Spy Thriller full movie

Lady from Chungking is a 1942 spy thriller full movie about Chinese guerrillas fighting against the occupying Japanese forces. Anna May Wong is the secret leader of the villagers, who plot to rescue two downed Flying Tigers pilots who are currently in the custody of the Japanese. Just love Anna Mae Wong, glad she had top billing in this movie! She had a quit talent that just mesmerizes.
This was an excellent movie! Thank you @BT for sharing this gem ! This movie is a cleaned up version of the complete humiliation and abuse these people endured . Glad Hollywood made this movie!
As a child many refused to allow children to see these movies. The feelings towards the Japanese were still very heated. I for one am glad that we have finally passed that dark time. It was awful for both sides. What America did with the camps in California was very wrong. It kept many alive from an angry public but was also cruel to take all they had worked for them to lock them up. A very ugly time in our history. This is one time Hollywood did something right.

Anna May Wong is excellent. This is one of the pro-Communist movies from American Communist "Fellow Travelers" in Hollywood. There were some notable actors who were sympathizers, only because they were duped. Communists are very good at marketing their ideology. Communism, Socialism et al will always be the enemy of freedom. I loved Anna's portrayal in the film. She's very good actress. I wonder, if in real life she was a sympathizer, fellow traveler?
