The inquiry is a good method but there is a major hole in it, for the Qs is it true....well how do we know that it's not true either? Can I know 100% that it's true how do I know 100% that it isnt?

Yeah...since u don't know whether its true or not....at least u don't believe ur thought madly and take actions based on beliefs.....then ur actions and words comes from a more saner and softer place

@@Jasleen09 but would you agree that is a major whole in the inquiry? can i know that its true.....can i know that its not true is equally questionable, for example if someone went to the doctor and the doctor said you have a disease...can i know that it isnt true that i dont have it?

@@retrosun1845 @@retrosun1845 you are free to question the other side too where you hold your belief true , if you are vigilant enough you would notice when you question it , your attention immediately comes in the present moment, then you are with urself in a place where u haven't concluded anything and purely experiencing first hand without extra burden of past remembrance ........suppose I have a disease and doctor's reports clearly mentions it and it pains a lot. Now i question " is it true" ,answer would be "of course yes"...but I suggest to stay focused within ur inner body in silence for some minutes and let it answer, let not just past thoughts merely answer your question. Now inner body says " yes, it pains a lot", proceed with further questions " how u react when u believe it pains a lot" and" who would you be without the thought that it pains"...now please don't confuse that the last question means that the disease is not there and it is not paining. The pain will be there, but the way you experience it will make a lot of difference, I surrender to the pain without thinking about it, it helps to not let pain arise in brain and makes it a bodily experience only and the body also experience it differently . The thought of discomfort is more painful than the actual pain itself. So , according to me, the inquiry is made in such a way , to experience life first hand and not designed to actually know whether its true or not, which might lead us to nowhere. ( I am travelling and about to reach home, I got to write a long reply...hehe)
