    Thank you for this and all you put together. The Prairie part I’m extremely thankful for. I have started an Urban Pocket Prairie project in my own yard and the yard of our Agrilife extension office. This next year will be about these and larger prairies restoration projects for Bell County. I’m very excited about getting more of this information out there!

    I really enjoyed the part about the Black Skimmers. Sad to see that even in protected nesting areas, humans still cause so many daily disturbances that breeding success is lower than expected.

    The fishing tournament probably has rules against fishing in the prohibited waters.

    i think it is better for everyone if we as humans leave more room for native wildlife.

    For the gentleman who claimed being in a tournament allowed him to be too close to the birds; would disqualifying him for leaving the approved fishing area stop this behavior?

      Possibly, but that's up to the tournament. Regardless, it's illegal to disturb nesting birds and that's probably what they told that angler next.
