The sucky thing is is that when I had to close a lane of the highway to clean an oil spill, I could put the cones and beacons and barricades, but as I wasn't a high enough rank, I couldn't put the "road work ahead," "flagger ahead," and "left lane closed" signs over 200 feet from the lane closure to give jerks speeding down the highway(in snow and ice mind you)and normal citizens proper warning to merge over. At least I had my truck with the warning lights and had barricades with the beacon lights on them flashing.
