    Useful video for aspiring physicians. Just an observation…You do not need 4 years of undergrad. You can do 3+4 or 2+4 depending on how motivated you are. Both my kids did that . I came here 27years back and took my Step 1 in Singapore during my 3 rd year of MBBS at Tvm. There were no centers in India in 1994.

      After passing USMLE, and after matching with a hospital (basically matching means, you are getting a job with the hospital), you will start your residency based on your selection, general medicine MD, pediatric MD, etc.; while you are on the residency, of course, you get paid because you are working for the hospital and hospital has to file work visa for you to start your residency. Pls watch the video again, Adiyta explained it clearly.

    M a doctor from india…and one my senior ..between i have lost contact with him..he is not active in social platforms..he finished his mbbs in 2019 and cme to us and he is a postdoctoral research fellow in stanford medical school.. can you ask aditya and telme should we need to pass usmle for research?? And what are the procedure for that

      I'd suggest looking up the requirements of the school that you would like to apply to or contacting their admissions office. They will be able to point you to the right direction.

      This is what I heard " People usually do this during their one-year compulsory internship in India. He has to ask his College if they allow taking a break in between the internship to do the electives abroad. Many people have done this in the past but it's totally up to the attending College. Many Colleges ensure that students complete the missing internship after he/she graduates." Hope this helps

      @@doctor6959 Indian PG is not valid in US. If you want to become a cardiologist in US, then clear all USMLE steps, join internal medicine residency program, then after completing do cardiology program
      If to pursue in India then neet pg , then MD medicine, then neet SS then DM CARDIOLOGY

      @@WhatsUrHomeStoryMalayalam but one difference I found when I researched more was that the matching process was different from what u told...in yours u had told they will check top 3 options only of ours but I didn't find it same way cuz they told they will check all our options and see if we were selected by any institution

      of course you can apply, no age limit for any studies in the US if I understand correctly. You will have to have a good explanation for the gap at the time of interview. Good luck.

      Only through H1B which is lottery based for Indians. For H1B they have to prove that they can’t find anyone with the same skill set locally.
