Sonix and Ken have played in bracket at one of the pre locals. Sonix usually runs over other Sonic players. The games don't last long
Pre-locals don’t count for rankings which is where the no sets played comes from

Tweek, if you see this, my advice is to play as much as you can. Study your opponents too. You’re the top player and I’m not very skilled yet. However, as an observer of high level talent, the people that are the best are the ones that are always training. Examples include; Tom Brady, Kobe Bryant(rest in piece to him and his daughter), Michael Jordan, Mkleo(back when would play 8 hours every day and was destroying everybody), Sonix(who says he is always grinding now). Just train dude. Also, don’t be outcome dependent because that will put stress on you. Train hard, detach from the outcome, live in the moment and see what happens. That’s it. You might win. I hope you do. Best of luck.🏆

Shout out to both AK and Zomba for putting on a good show at Genesis black. Think both of them deserved the spot and have storyline upsides to each of them making it in. Zomba taking a set over a top level snake was dope and AK possibly having a chance to win against acola is just as exciting. Ggs and tweek is gonna win WTT

I think the main thing I'm worried about for commentary at Watch the Throne is that we're going to have multiple matches with Sonic and with that being the case my fear is that at some point commentary for those matches might dissolve to 'we don't want to be here (insert punchline here)'. I could be alone in this feeling but to me it comes off like complaint then a joke which is kind of rubs being the wrong way. As an example for port priority 8 once it got to top 4 I watched void restream the event instead of the mainstream because I felt like a commentary he provided was better because it didn't come off as negative as the mainstream. I don't mean to say this as who's right or wrong and definitely not to antagonize anyone just here leaving my opinion impossibly a discussion point for the comment section. Hopefully everyone enjoys their weekend who's going to the event cuz I'll be enjoying mine watching it.
It is fine I also didn't like it sounded pretty try hard and not funny if commentators don't want to be there then why I am here watching it also did come a bit disrespectful because that's some of the highest level smash put on screen and both miya and sonix made great plays if you like smash at least you'll observe the gameplay and explain to the audience outside the great narrative behind that set . I think this is the best way to say it it is the role of commentators to make spectators invested in what thier watching by making it cool and easy to digest and cracking jokes and making fun of the entire situation isn't it I m sorry for the long comment like wtf

Please consider playing a First to 4, winner stays on for any three way ties in the group phase. This is a faster way to determine the seeding in the event of a tie rather playing several additional sets, 🙏🏾

interesting when you guys were talking about "love for the game" being the most important criteria for commentators when people like coney and tk and whoever else clearly dont like watching ult, but i still consider them to be good commentators. i think you just have to be smart enough and engaging enough for it to work.

Dabuz's olimar set count with Gluto is 5-2 for Dabuz and the set count between Gluto and Shuton's Olimar is 9-1 for Shuton. Dabuz probably has a good reason to pick Harmony but a surprise comeback of Olimar to fight Gluto could be a nice pick too.

AK came through smite. A game where your teammates will actively do everything in their power to make you lose your games. If you have not been in this community, you cannot imagine the toxicity. I imagine AK molded his mentality through this game. One of the most frustrating experiences is in gaming is the feeling of dragging your deadweight teammates across that finish line while you're trying to promote through ranked. The fires of ELO hell prepared this man to fight for his life.
In fact, I remember him saying he quit smite because he got so sick of relying on his teammates. He chose smash for the 1v1 aspect lmao

While I do agree leo getting 2 Sonics and a palu after he just lost rafalow was very dirty I definitely wouldn’t say Tweek got a super favorable bracket I see him beating kurama and having a somewhat close set with bloom but he still could lose you never know and he has acola to face as well. I do agree light and dabuz do have much better brackets then those 2 though.
