I drove those for 7 years, for the disabled. Glad you were able to insulate yourselves from the heat buildup from the sun heating the bus. Now I know what to do with my finished burls of redwood, myrtlewood, and birch , and aromatic cedar. It’s nice you already have those radiused windows with ventilation windows at the top, and at least one emergency openable window.. And lucky you, you can keep the push button doors!! And you have the lift doors for emergency escape, too.

I love 😍 the light & airy feel to your home, however, having to block the windows up for privacy, you might google Roman blinds, I’m sure with you both being so creative, you could make your own with your preferred colour /fabric choices, so easy to tie up & gives that big window view & cosy when down in the cooler weather. I tought the same, it would be much easier to have permanent insulated blinds they can just roll up and down as needed. I’m sure they would pick lovely fabric to enhance the interior look as well 🤗
TO AWAKEN DAYS: I enjoyed your video tour. You look like a great couple. I like what you did with the bus. I do have a question I ask of everyone showing their van builds: 1. After the build, when your vehicle is fully loaded with the wood/furniture/tanks full of water/food, and everything you take with you on the road, what is the FUEL ECONOMY (or MPG of fuel)? 2. What specific motor does the vehicle have? I hope you will share that with us. Also: 3. If there were any needed mechanical repairs, what were they and how much did those cost to repair? And 4. How did you insure the vehicle (RV/ etc.?)? I have subscribed based on this video. Happy trails.
Question 1: 12-15 MPG with it fully loaded Question 2: 10 cylinder e-450? not sure Question 3: We have ran into a good bit of struggles with our alternator, battery, and wire harness. I would say we have invested now $5,000 back into the engine. We feel pretty confident we are in clear now, knock on wood. Lots of electrical issues on the one we purchased coming from Minnesota. Question : We filed through the state of Vermont with RV insurance :)
If you want something that will help with smells, use coffee beans. If you can put them in places it'll soak up bad smells and all you'll smell is coffee.

That's the million dollar question we'd all like to know. I know my internet provider has a sign in on areas they have service. I know AT&T and Verizon also has log ons too. Cell phones have hotspots you can run your tablet or laptop off of it.

She had for 25 years at that point. It had been a wedding gift❣️ I made a red granny square one for my mom once, who thought it was too much red, I used scraps of other colors in the centers. My youngest sister saw it when I gifted our mom with it and snapped it up right away; one mom’s trash another sister’s treasure❣️😄 When that sister got married I made her one in the color Caribbean teal, in a raised flower pattern, to match the carpet in her new home’s living room. She has had both Afghans for about 20years or more now❣️ I always give one for weddings and baby showers. They’re seen as heirlooms❣️
I am not done watching yet, I just wanted to pause and say how I love the slide out locks on the fridge, and want to float the idea of having a henged wooden arm or 2 on the bottom with short legs at the end to support the fridge system, I do see the slides sinking quite a bit when you used the can as support.
Haha this was a troubling area for us. We ordered the proper slide out locks but they didn’t fit in the space. So we have regular cabinet slides and the support just isn’t there. They are still holding strong after 6 months though of bumpy road!

Farm house sinks and sit down showers are a must. A separate portable compost toilet is best and large windows make a great trip.
