    Nitro vs Orbit? Pretty much the same kite or would you say the nitro has some upgrades over the orbit?

    Why do you care about bar pressure?

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jon, Great question it really comes down to presonal preference and or what your use to, but the short answer is the lighter the bar preasure the less force you need to apply to get the kite to turn.

      @@MACkiteboarding Ok. Thanks. But it's not like it takes strength to turn the bar. Is it more about making it easier to turn one handed? Just curious. Good kiters have always talked about bar pressure and I've never understood why. You can be a 90 pound weakling and still turn a kite.

      @@jondeur2686 this question stikes me as kind of funny.....
      If you kite for any duration at all, with power, then you will appreciate light bar pressure. Big air kiting, as this kite is designed for, is done powered up- and the less bar input needed to turn the kite the easier it is to have usable power in the kite. Bar feel is one of if not the the most important aspect of a kite. Think power steering vs non power steering. Turning a truck vs a ferarri. The less bar input required to initiate a turn the faster u can turn the kite, especially when ur lit titty and can barely hold your edge. You try holding down a 10m Ozone Edge in 30 plus knots and getting that thing to send while edging hard against it... the only kiters who appreciate significant bar pressure are beginners who need it to know where the kite is. The more time you have flying a kite the less bar pressure you need to know where the kite is, and that is why kiters always talk about bar pressure when discussing how a kite feels/flies/performs. Cheers

      @@corpuskiter I’ve noticed that good jumpers barely move the bar when sending the kite. I always pull hard on the back hand to send it. Does that tell you anything about my kiting? All I’ve ever cared about is getting big air and I’m just not getting it. Been jumping ugly for 11 years. Any advice is appreciated. Going to South Padre in two weeks and I wanna jump big before I die
