So I have this router and with my external hdd connected to my pc directly to a usb3.0 port it get transfer speed that hit around 230-260 mb/s but when i connect my external hdd to the usb3.2 port and use it I only get around 40-80 mb/s. I tried with the original firmware from asus and Merlin. No diff. Any suggestions?
Hey Nirvash! Thank you for the warm welcome 😁 I'd say the main difference between both routers is the voice control, I believe the range would be more similar between the two. What I can say is that Asus' router has been reliable in the condo that we're in. The speeds have been pretty impressive and it's been a life saver as we have spotty reception as from T-Mobile. Asus also is more for gaming if that's what you are looking for and also has RGBs, Nighthawk is more for business use and is also reliable thanks to wifi e. Hopefully this clears this up Nirvash! If you have any questions lemme know ✌️
@@ChrisMizo the integrated MESH system in ASUS products is also a HUGE selling and upgrade point. coming from an ASUS rt-AC88U im super familiar with their firmware/software. thats another + for me. Im probably gonna pick one up this week. the ONLY DOWNSIDE ive found is that ASUS phones home to china. if you load up your routers settings page and go to the administration tab->system tab-> DNS Query. those IP addresses belong to microsoft and China Mobile. do yourself a favor and disable it, or change the address.
@@NirvashOne it's ashame because Asus is a big maker in Taiwan and to outsource their products are a negative to me too. Luckily I have my router linked to a VPN now, thanks for the warning👌
Great video. I just got this router. How is the range when you go outside?
it's surprisingly well, I get 3 bars about 50 ft away in a concrete condo building 👍 Thank you Trader 🙏
My dude.. you need to make another video.. with the features of this router + types of uses etc
Hey bro, I actually have another video which reviews this router 👍

I would suggest a different wire, usually that's the issue.
You are the man dude
Thanks bro!
You must have "Windows 11" to use WiFi 6E.
Contemplating this router or the nighthawk axe router. Welcome to Florida btw.
