I’m always afraid I don’t have enough floss so I NEVER buy kits plus it’s a pain to store kits, so I only buy charts!!

Can you please explain the number of thread when say exp: 25+32.?

Hi Amani, that means you need to mix your threads :) so if you are using two strands, you would have one strand of 25 and one strand of 32 together and stitch with it:) this is called Blending x

Great video, thanks for the helpful tips! Which support do you use to hold your Q-snap while you're cross-stitching?

I did cross stitch yeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago. I have switched to surface embroidery and now would like to go back to cross stitch. I have gotten myself a Dimensions kit and have many many colours to use. My question: when you have many different colours in a very small area, do you cut your thread and start over everytime the colour is back, or do you keep your thread ''alive'' stored in the front or around your embroidery?

I tend to pick a colour and do all the stitches in that colour within the pattern or page. So I do carry my thread wherever it needs to go. Obviously, if it’s miles away, I’ll snip it and star it again x
