Happy anniversary, Allison! It's been a wonderful year having you share layouts here. I've been following you since the CK days, and you were always one of my very favorite scrappers. Your layouts are gorgeous, as always, and I'll rewatch this video, as I always do.lol I'm looking forward to your new class, and can't wait to hear the details. I restocked my supply of floss, so I'm ready to go! Thank you again.☺
Thank you so much, Kim!! You always leave the most complimentary comments and I appreciate them so much. Those CK days feel like they were so long ago and yet at the same time it feels like it was just yesterday. I miss CK!
Awesome video as always! Your supply of ideas just seems endless and I am so grateful you share them with us here on youtube. It's about time I tried some of your classes!
Happy TH-cam anniversary! Yay! Thanks for sharing your celebration with us and I enjoyed watching your different versions of this sketch. It must take a lot of time to create these layouts, film them and upload them, so thanks for all your hard work. Truly inspirational!
Thank you so much, Erika! 🎉 It is a lot of work, but it’s all fun so it doesn’t ever feel like work. I never thought I would enjoy filming and editing, but it has surprised me.
Congratulations Allison happy anniversary x... because of you ... I now sew on my most of my layouts lol ( nearly as much as you do 😀) Yours are my fav sketches of anyone’s. thank you for all your creative fabulousness 🤩🤩
Thank you!! 🎉 Your comment made me smile so big! So big that my husband even asked me, “What are you smiling about?” 😁 That’s so awesome about stitching! I always love finding others that enjoy it as much as I do.
Thank you, Anne! I do all my stitching by hand. I not only like the look of it, I absolutely love the process of doing it too. There’s something relaxing and enjoyable about it and I look forward to doing it on each layout I create. 😊
I just found this and I’m so excited to go back and watch the earlier ones! I do struggle with sketches and tend to go with a completed layout as a visual. I’m sure to get some good, useful ideas.
Really I just shoot for colors that are close to the colors on the layout or what I'm stitching on. A lot of times, even if the floss color is a little different, it almost forms to the color you stitched on, kind of like a chameleon.
Hello Allison, have you ever taken a single 12x12 layout, changed the size and used it in a hand made album? I am trying to keep the "scrapbooking page layout" and the "Mini interactive album" parts to my album, I have lots of photos, and embellishments to use as well.
I haven't done that. I only make layouts and don't really venture into the mini-album thing. Long ago when I first started, I use to, but anymore I just do 12 x 12" layouts. I wish I was more help!!

Happy Anniversary! Amazing stuff 💗 Do you use a machine or is this by hand? I love the layouts, thanks for the lessons and inspiration!

Wow, I just LOVE your idea of using the negatives on a sticker sheet. I'm going to definitely give that a try.
I really like that one for titles! It’s a lifesaver when you are out of the letter you need.
Beautiful layouts, and so much inspiring information! Thank you, and happy anniversary.
Thank you so much, Traci!! 😊

I'm so glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful! If you've got any sketch questions I'm always here to help!
How do you choose floss colors so perfectly?
Really I just shoot for colors that are close to the colors on the layout or what I'm stitching on. A lot of times, even if the floss color is a little different, it almost forms to the color you stitched on, kind of like a chameleon.
Hi Allison, I was wondering if you can show how to make a 12x12 layout into a 10 and half by 10 and a half single and double pages layouts?
That's a tough one for me! I only create 12 x 12" layouts for these videos since that's the size I scrapbook. Sorry that I'm not help there!
