I couldn't disagree more about the vampstache. The tanking that the king does is invaluable and the longer he is on the board the better.
Agreed. The king ends up cleaning up for 3 stars for me with the maxed out vamp in legends

Vampstache is cute around 5200 legends, at 5700 the rage vial and gauntlet is so OP

Now don’t get me wrong I’ve had many attacks using the stache and I’ll go an entire attack with the BK without ever popping the phoenix but pairing the gauntlet and rage vial I take out entire sections, sometimes like 25% of the base
Giant Arrow is one of the best equipment for air attacks. You can easily eliminate 2 air defense at the start of the match. That is equivalent to 6 lightning spells. Pair this with the Healer Puppet, and your queen can walk around the base clearing other defenses while your dragons/balloons/dragonriders wipe the base. I almost always 3-star my mirror at TH9-TH14 with this technique. I am not TH15 yet, but I suspect it will sustain viability at that level as well.
Yeah, it's flexible and really underrated, love to use it against inferno, on th12 it gives a great value
But that highly depends on the skill, you need time to practice the launches, that's what keeps people away from the giant arrow.
@@vergeofthegalaxy it takes very little time to master. You just place the Queen at the center of a tile next to a building, and the arrow will go in a straight line through the base.
@@iamzachhunter and that's not what you usually want, lmao. You want to be able to pierce through exact buildings, not the one staying in the straight line. Moreover, when you are shooting the giant arrow diagonally, it will usually give you a better value since it will hit more buildings on the way (we are not talking about perfectly square bases where the amount of buildings in diagonal and straight trajectories is exactly the same)
@@vergeofthegalaxy well it just so happens that most bases are symmetrical. I can find an easy line through 2 air defense on 95% of bases I encounter.

Moose... Try the healer puppet with frozen arrow... With a spammy attack.. Activate the AQ ability, right before you hit your warden... Protects the healers from getting immediately smoked.. Also keeps them behind the army and usually out of range from air targeting defenses by the time the tome wears off...

Hey Moose. I agree on most of your tierlist. I would add one important fact though; The archerpuppet gives the queen the best booststats by far, so I would put it into the great category for that. I have also seen it on my base in cw as a good th15, getting obliterated by the queen(ability) from a maxed th 16 queen with the archers. It's definitely underrated, and a solid option in some armycombos.

As a dedicated spam attacker myself I think you underate the archer puppet. Not because of the the archers themselves (although they help particularly if up against big point defence like monolith or single) but because of the health recovery that happens when activated. I find the Queen can die through the ability with frozen arrow/invis as there is no health recovery. Overall I am undecided between frozen arrow and archer puppet. I think the frozen arrow would be properly epic if it did a sort of splash freeze of buildings around. At the moment the "freeze time" is pointless to upgrade as it is mostly longer than the fire rate of the queen so it only needs to be about 1 second.
it's the damage increase that previously made the archer puppet a great choice, for the health recovery, just trigger the invisibility earlier.
The ice arrow now does more damage at max and it makes the queen survive infernos and monoliths, saving a freeze, however supercell is greedy and it's too hard to upgrade without spending money
@@abodieqwerty4678 The queen only survives the inferno/monolith if its targeting that defence. Not much help when its freezing a gold storage. Fine to control on a long queen charge but not so controllable in spam

Totally agree. Archer puppet is OP, should be in the must use with the Invisibility. I dont agree with the Vampstache being so low either. Especially on my th11 and th10 accounts, makes the King very hard to kill

The king could have had 3 worst category pieces of equipment, earthquake boots break walls at level 1 and don’t boost enough plus as an active ability you may not be able to count on breaking walls where you want depending on the damage taken
Does the great rating on the gauntlets take into account the bug/glitch will be fixed in about a week when update comes out?
I am surprised to find you rank vampstache that low. It's awesome in wars. greatly increase kings survivability and made it a great tank. Stacking with gauntlet and frosty is insane.
I’ve found myself using the earthquake boots for king. He’ll path outside too much and get destroyed. This helps there for sure. And pairing frost bolt with queen and drop her WITH the king is strong.
Yes earthquake boots are useful and can be strong equipment if it use right, i use it for my king when diving some valuable compartment

barb puppet isn’t that bad, the barbs can tank loads of single target damage is you can avoid multi infernos (still not useless against them though), scatter shots and bom towers

I want to cry. You guys all said vampstache initially and I wasted all my ores upgrading that.
People said vampstache before the giant gauntlet was released. Which is still true. Vampstache is probably the best king equipment if you don’t have giant gauntlet upgraded
It's just my personal opinion, it is good, but I'm dissapointed with it, maybe I was a bit harsh putting it in the bottom category!
Lol that's on you tbh. Especially since they auto upgraded rage vial which was already good. Smart thing to do was to use it and wait and see what the equipment meta would be.
If it works for you it works for you.
A tier list is a guide, rather than a mandate. I use vamp stash it's not bad at all.

I agree 100%. I found the giant arrow, pretty useless and only helpful if you use the healer puppets for a queen walk. But I’m bad at queen walking. I use the same equipment you use. I’m working on getting them all up to 18 before I build up the gauntlet and frozen arrow to 27. I’ll work on the others later. For now, I wish I hadn’t expected my resources on the giant arrow and healer puppet.

I disagree about the giant arrow, I use it with great effect (some of the time), find it more useful than the frozen arrow. Great for taking out inferno towers towards the end of a battle👍
Giant Arrow and Healer puppet both are my favourite and i am using them...both are lvl 15 ..
Giant Arrow can take down 2 Air defenses and one Air sweeper some times at starting and add 2 healers with Healer puppet make them perfect

As a dragon spammer Giant arrow is the most op ability in th9-11 3staring every single base with my rushed accounts.
I'm th15 at the beginning, now heroes and abilities are separated, do I have to max pets first and then heroes?
I’d say pets are better than actually levelling your heroes

I disagree about the Giant Arrow, it is great with for example Edrag/Loons. Take out an extra piece of Air Defence or something else. It is also good for farming for events, and farming Dark Elixir. I use it with the Frozen Arrow. I also disagree about kabooom.

The Giant Arrow is super useful for farming event currencies, like Sweet Elixir at Hallowe'en or the red envelopes now. Just enter the map, shoot an arrow through it, exit. I got the Frozen Arrow on one account in about an hour from scratch, no Gold Pass. You do drop a lot of trophies, but they come back easily enough. @@Singham-gb2kw

Imagine putting the archer puppet in the worst when it's top 2 or 3
Archer and barb puppets are the absolute worse abilities in the game. Every time you use the queens invis the archer puppet completely annihilates the queen. Super invaluable
