Him being a musical instrument and a possession-type artist are pretty common and accurate perceptions of this guy. When he isn't performing, he's a real goofball though. But that's what makes the multiplicity he has between his off and on modes so interesting. He's crazy amusing when he's not performing and oh so spellbinding to witness and to listen to when he is and they're all the same person. :)
you're right, fujii kaze does have this effortless charm about him that you can clearly see in how he delivers his music and overall mannerism. please react to more of Fujii Kaze, i definitely recommend YASASHISA and MATSURI. another really wonderful sound by him that you will love i hope !
I have been huge fan of Kaze ever since I found him on TH-cam. All of his composition, piano, vocals and saxophone.. All are out of this world, skilled, mesmerizing.. I can not speak enough of him. I would also like to suggest Matsuri. Thank you for the great reaction!
This was the first track I heard from Fujii Kaze over a year ago and just like you I was speechless. It was like he was channeling pure music strait into my soul. I don’t think it’s exaggerated to say it that way. I was literally so captivated I think I clocked around 200 hours on Spotify just listening to this one track on repeat. Every time I thought I was tired of it and try to listen to something else it called me back. You’re going to love every single one of his songs. He’s going to crawl into your soul and give you some joy and peace. I’m excited to see what you listen to next…I’d suggest Grace.
I went to his concert this year. It was the best moment i’ve ever had. His piano, vocals and his smile captivated the audience. I would like you to watch Matsuri live version at Panasonic Stadium ,Nan Nan live version at Nippon Budokan and Hedemo ne yo MV. Thank you.
Omg❤whatever you felt this time is exactly what Kaze described himself at the interview 2 years ago !!!!! He said “I am just a instrument (tools) which delivers whatever came through. He is using this instrument; himself to deliver the music and message so as long as he could, he would continue to polish his instrument (himself) Not only he has an amazing musical talents but also he is an amazing human being. He does not sing about romantic relationships. His messages are normally about higher self, self love, free from all the burdens and affirmations. His soothing layback voice heals so many people around the world. He has just released the song called “Hana” totally different sound from the two you listened to. More close sound to J-pop. He made this song for Japanese TV drama show just started last week. His officials says that they are going to release MV so please react to this new single when they release the MV. Could you believe that since that twitch live I memorized the lyrics lol Love it!!❤ His album is on my playlist, so many good songs. Thanks Captain for introducing him to me💜🫰🏼
I'm going to hopefully shortly explain to you how accurate your views on Fujii Kaze are. When you look back on the lyrics, its seems like a romantic, obsessive long song, right? Even Fujii was surprised people thought of things like this because it really wasn't the case: In an interview, Kaze explained how this song was basically talking about himself. Always aiming for the ideal self within. And if he can't do that, he'd just "rather die", just like the song expresses it. The more you dive into Kaze, the more you are going to get the full picture of him. That's why I think you need to keep going. Kaze, ONE OK ROCK, any many, MANY more Japanese artists, they really reel and pull you into those spectrum of emotions that just makes all worth the music you're surrounding yourself with.
I got shocked everytime I watch Asian singers. Some of them have that special ability to use their vocal without opening their mouth too much. I can't understand how it works but it is great
I think it's also his uniqueness to speak in Okayama ben in 'slow, sticky' way as what Yoasobi's Ikura has once commented, that makes him looks very 'laid back', but whatever he did (playing piano, composing music/lyrics etc) he did it so effortlessly yet actually need high degree of focus & skills. he's just too good
I recommend Fujii Kaze Matsuri live at Phanasonic next, it is the best stage in my opinion, from the visuals of the stage and also the enthusiastic dancing audience
Some say that this song is about romance or obsession, which is kind of toxic, when actually it's a misinterpretation. According to Fujii Kaze, it is actually a song about self-love. In an interview, he said it's actually about somebody within him, which is his strongest persona that he wants to cling onto, saying, "If I forget that person (my higher self), then I'm as good as dead." At the end of the interview, he said he always wondered why many misinterpreted the meaning behind it and found it interesting. That's how pure he is... He was only about 21 years old when he wrote the song. At 26 years old, he has written so many songs with deep and inspiring messages that are all worth listening to. ☺️
Mr. Fujii certainly said that, but I think this song was based on what he was told by his girlfriend. His excuse is a bit unreasonable. I think he often writes songs about his experiences. If you listen to ``Kirari'' many times, you'll realize that he sings about the time he met his manager. He lived in the countryside and he didn't know how to become a singer. Then his current manager found him. where have you been so far? I was looking for you. Take me there. he says in a song. Also, SEISHUN SICK is probably based on his experience. He often sublimates his inner conflicts and thoughts into songs. The same goes for SHINUNOGA E-WA. When he was about to break up with his girlfriend, she told him that if she broke up with you, she wanted to die, which I think had an impact on him, so he wrote it into a song. If I were his lover (which is definitely not the case), I would tell him that. I think he is such an attractive man.
@@kingyolinda7090 It's natural to think it was romantic at first. Until I get to know how Fujii Kaze writes songs with deep meaning and that his entire personality is all about spirituality, caring, and loving. He mentions "love yourself" and "higher self" numerous times. Then I realized that it wasn't about romance. Like the lyrics, “Mirror mirror on the wall. Who would give me the fairest love of them all? ", which is a sign that it is about self-love. So it's like he dedicates this song to himself. Being in a romantic relationship is common and a natural experience for a human being, so I don't think he had to deny that it's about his experience in a relationship.
@@kateaye Interpretations differ depending on what each person values. I'm sorry, but what I imagined is more vulgar than yours ( ;∀;) But I think Mr. Kaze is also saying that everyone should interpret it as they like.
@@kingyolinda7090 I do agree. It's okay; you don't need to apologize since we are entitled to our own interpretations. Yes, Kaze-san definitely said we can interpret his songs as we'd like. It's really good to listen and enjoy his songs while trying to find their meaning, depending on how one interprets them.
