    Nice little review man,glad your liking it!
    I'm at about 180 miles on mine atm,don't ride every day but I do try and get out when it isn't raining lol...
    I absolutely love my d4 3.0, I weigh 160lb and on realy nice newly paved flat roads I can get mine to about 42mph,iv hit 46 on a downhill but it wasent a great road and with the cracked front hub I am trying to take it easy with it now.
    It will Def hit 38-40mph with an everage size person,with the right stance,obviously no wind or crappy pot hole roads lol..my favorite things on mine are...
    The new machined metal hydraulic brakes that come on the newer models,they are so amazing and the stopping power you can get with just a finger or two is unsurd!
    Other favorite thing is the battery and range of the beast! I am able to go 75% max speed and the rest 15-25mph on shifty roads although still mashing the throttle most of the time and I can get roughly 30 miles out of a battery,and that's wide open for 30 miles pretty much! If I didn't use turbo or kept it in just turbo in speed one I could prolly get atleat 45 miles easy...
    It wouldn't surprise me if you could hit 50 miles with this in eco mode!
    Absolutely a steal for 1700 and I can't get enough of mine, besides the hub I'm waiting for from nanrobots...
    My handlebars kinda move a bit but iv tried the trick inside where you fold them down and back screw out just a bit and I can't find it tightens it any more so then just tightening the screw fully...
    I just leave mine tight, I can't figure out why backing it out isn't doing it but I learned that I can just slide all of the stuff on handlebars over so there pushed against the sliding fold down feature,and it keeps everything pretty tight...

    Nice review. I’m considering this scooter but I’m also reviewing the Nanrobot 6.0. Have you compared the two and what are your thoughts? Btw… I’m also over 50.

    Going on 50 in October. Last year I decided to take it to a real off road place, Ocotillo Wells in CA. Was doing pretty good at first, but the the soft sand got me and the front end washed out hard causing me to crash. Hit my chest real hard on ground when I came off. Never got x-rays but it felt like I cracked the cartilage on my sternum. Main point to that story is yes, we don’t heal as fast. 😂😭

      Did you switch out the tires yourself? I'm not mechanically smart and there are NO shops around me anymore.

      @@thevalleyviking. Yeah, Super easy. hardest part was getting the axle nuts off because the factory CRANKS em.

    I do also have this scooter the only negative thing I can say about it is I don't feel safe on it going 40 mph. I love how compact it gets, how it look ,and how smooth it is on the road.

      Mine won't go past 35 anymore and I can only keep a 55.5 volt charge now. I will post an updated video this week.

      Also the suspension or I don't know what the hell it is it makes a creeking noise on the rebound. I have no clue how to fix that or if something need to be like lubricated it's annoying lol.

      Just crashed it for the first time. That sucked lol. Still a great scooter. Need new tires but no scooter shops near me and I'm not talented enough to do it myself. Still the best purchase ever.

    My rear tire 🛞 keeps going flat even after I put slime in. I’m taking it to the shop in the AM to get hard rubber tires. Do you suggest?

    • @tannerhopster6448
      @tannerhopster6448 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      check the inside of your tire tread, sometimes when i get goatheads they will stay stuck in the tread and pop the new tube as well

    • @thevalleyviking.
      @thevalleyviking.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would stick with off road tires. I have had no issues with tire pressure other than after jumps or off road. I only lose about 7 psi though.

    just starting to tame mine and so far the scooter is wining the battle. feels like it tries to drop me face first every time i suggest touching the brakes. adjusted the screws behind the brake handles, but still feels like they will either bite hard or not at all. any recommendations for that?

    • @thevalleyviking.
      @thevalleyviking.  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have the adjustment on the hand brake to loosen or tighten. Also check your brake pads and caliper.

      I shift my weight to the back when braking so I don’t get thrown over the bars. Guess everyone learns the qwerks of their machine and adapts to them!

      The 1st 100 miles on the scooter in my town I easily got 40mph. I'm at 518 miles now and get 37mph max. The scooter did hit 40 for a while. Great scooter. Ride safe bud.
