Can I just say, I love this song. I love how the entrance takes awhile to get to the lyrics. Like how it's ok to take awhile to find someone to love. I like how the music has faster and slower parts, like the things that take time and the things that just work in relationships. He takes off his construction helmet, and goes to the counter. The girl turns and smiles, asking what she could get for him. He orders a coffee with three creams and three sugars. As the days pass by, they talk more and more. Until one day he pulls a napkin from a dispenser and with a blue pen writes "Date? Yes or No". The girl smiles, blushing with happiness. 'Yes' she circles. They feel as though they can find peace within each other, that one is the body of a guitar and the other is its strings. Together they make music, beautiful harmonies. I briefly brushed paths with a guy at a concert, and we started to talk. The first time we met was at a local coffee shop. When he walked in the door, my heart stopped and I was completely speechless. I was so scared to love him. But after almost a year we finally started dating. And I can honestly say that he is my best friend and he has taught me so much about love. This song feels like a narration of our story, and that's pretty epic.

Almost four years ago I went on a trip to England with my college. My best friend since 6th grade was there too. We had both always dreamed of going to England, and there we were. As we were riding the bus through the English countryside, he stuck one earbud in his ear and one in mine. We listened to his music and I remember this song coming on and looking at him and realizing I loved him. We ended up together by the end of that trip. He just broke up with me a few days ago. I'm devastated. Just listening back on some of the music that it all began with.
