  • Drew Lobenstein is a renowned pigeon geneticist and an NPA Master Breeder. In this lecture on our August 2014 club meeting night, Drew gave a detailed analysis on Jacobins, which is definitely his specialty. Enjoy.....
Our meetings are held on the second Thursday night of each month, inside the multipurpose building at Lambert Park at 11431 McGirk St, El Monte, CA 91732. Meeting and socializing starts around 7:00pm. It is open to all friends and family. We invite all pigeon lovers and fanciers to come join our meeting nights and share a good time. Also, there is tremendous opportunity to learn from the many Master Breeders who regularly attend our meetings.
    Announcements:
We are the proud sponsor of the upcoming greatest pigeon show in North America, the NPA Grand National. The show will be in Ontario, California on January 29-31, 2015. For further information, please visit www.npausa.com.
As preparation for the upcoming Young Bird Show in September 14, 2014 and the Gran National in January, our table shows are going on club meeting nights. Bring your pigeon to show. Winners get awards.
As always, thank you for watching our videos, and please subscribe to our channel for updates and share our channel and videos with friends and families.

There only seems to be one pigeon club in my area. I've been looking for a young squab to raise up, as hatching eggs don't seem to be a thing in the pigeon world! Very nice to see these birds, thanks for uploading.

Let us know if you are looking for pigeons to purchase and we could help you meet with breeders.
      Thank you.

Thanks very much for the reply :) It'll be a while yet before I have the space, but I'll come to you when I start my search!

I have a male Jacobin but no female and non to be found in my area. There are other pigeons sold in my area however, so would I be able to breed my male Jacobin to a female of an other type of pigeon?

I've always preferred the Jacobin with a more open 'jacket' the people who breed them with such an abundance of feather so close to the face are just breeding clumsy blind birds that look headless.
