That evil hooker probably married into wealth, and then decided to treat the person who makes her son genuinely happy, as if he trash on the street. Cher was taking care of himself before and continued to do so after, that is already so good enough to be someone's other half in life. Depend on one another for love, not for money, he already understood that well. The things that happened were not his fault in the first place, he took care of his brother and was a good person. People like you who sympathize with uncaring people like Gun's mother are a really sorry type.
