    More Mucker Magic! You're so watchable and after a week of autumn downpours this was a lovely reminder of long summer days 😎 My back problems are now largely behind me, other than having all the flexibility of an ironing board most mornings, but I've had three prolapsed discs over the last 10-15 years and a bit of surgery, so I can at least empathise with the pain and infuriating limitations of major back aggro. It's fantastic you've found a novel and effective way of continuing to enjoy your passion for fishing and the Thames. We'll definitely have a beer at some point although I believe the Thames will be seriously high for a good while yet?! I was in the local tackle shop in Byfleet this week and the owner was getting a lot of calls from unfortunate folk wanting chest waders to help deal with their flooded properties. Maybe I need to try that bush at Walton!

      Thanks for that John, you're a true gentleman. Uuhh, 3 prolapsed discs for me as well bud, T1 T2 T3 if i remember correctly, 4 degenerated Lumber and all inoperable since very young..🥴🥴 Lots of Rugby & Motorbike accidents didn't help. Silly me..!😊 Can't wait to get back to the Thames, it should be in the next couple of weeks weather depending.🤞Can't wait to meet up, so much to talk about, fishing, TH-cam Life and Guinness..🍻 P.s really early morning at Waltons best but it's too dark to film for that now.👎Maybe try midday till dark if the waters well over the banks. Cheers bud and speak soon..😊👍

    Is there access to the bank on your right. ie opposite the downside of the weir ?

    • @MUCKER671
      @MUCKER671  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi buddy, on the Campsite side there's access along the bank beside & under the bridge if i remember rightly? Parking can be difficult close to the river on that side though. Seen people fishing there in the last few weeks. Also access up to the start of the Lock on the opposite side that's amazing. There's residents only fishing access on the campsite aswell. Hope this helps you out..😊👍

    Bad news the thames seal has been through there and up to penton hook , if you are a specimen hunter fisherman you will have trouble finding any fish. Just done a weeks carp fishing on thames caught zero carp zero bream. Went through there two days ago and was toying with tying boat to tree near camp site by bridge but believed it very shallow.

      @@ronaldford8527 hello again, good to see you here bud..😊 Started to read your message, thought you were talking about me in the Bellyboat for a moment..😂😂 Feels like it sometimes..😊 Blimey, Thames Seal, i can't seem to get away from them, my Harbours rammed with um..!! Changed the whole ecosystem of my harbour in about 2 years 25 years ago.. Thames doesn't stand a chance then..🥴🥴 Makes my challenge more interesting that's for sure.. All the more special if, or when ya catch though. Got a backup plan for the next time I'm there, gorgeous spot you'll probably know, can't say where, promises not to.. Let me know if you catch, no probs keeping the spot under ya hat..👍Great message by the way..😊👍

      @@MUCKER671 Hi thanks for your the thames fishing is up and down 2022 was quite a good year i managed to catch three carp to 18lb my angling buddy Luke caught seven carp to 32lb from various locations mainly near shepperton , along desborough island and hanpton court reach.The one thing that always perked me up was wenever you were carpfishing you always got a bream or two. Had a resident shoal of bream near my boat fed them every week put my underwater camera down and used to watch them chomping away on free sweetcorn and boilies and bread that was put in between the boats. Now the free offerings go uneaten. But on the brightside seal is getting fatter. I also travel a fair distance to enjoy fishing fron north of portsmouth,near waterlooville at the moment iam getting slightly dissolutioned with the river fishing and may get my sea angling rods out again.

      @@ronaldford8527 yeah the Bream are definitely thin on the ground compared to pre lockdown days. If i had to pick spots for Carp it would be pretty much the three spots you just mentioned plus a couple of other nooks and crannies. Got two hard sessions to post at Shepperton soon, really thought i was in with a chance a couple of times. Met a Subscriber while packing up who nudged me in the right direction. Gorgeous spot, either no fish or lack of talent, going with the latter i think..🥴👍

      @@MUCKER671 hi , dont think its a lack of talent, you just cannot catch fish that aren't there. Half the battle is won when you know exactly where fish are and can get your bait in amongst them.Tje spots i fished were good last season opp doyle carte and along opp thames covers in trees the. River is deep by tje moorings my fishing pal caight there last season. This season a total bust. I will be changing tactics and start using pellet feeders more rather than pop up boilies and pva bags if and when river slows.

      @@ronaldford8527 thanks for that..😊 Your not wrong, trying to find them is part of the fun sometimes.
      I was shocked how much the Wier had changed. Definitely putting to much pressure on myself to catch, only done a few hours in reality so far.. Feels longer for some reason? Might be the editing side of things that makes it feel longer, i think that vid took me around 60 to 80 hours to finish..🥴 Lucky i love the editing side of things..😊👍 Cheers bud..
