The fact people don't like Kirby means he doing a good job as a heel. Pretty good match just for shits and giggles.
i say great match and great acting skills on Kirby's part! He is what Bo Dallas had meant out to be i think but is better at it!

I think maybe with the wait and all the advertisements for it, people may be expecting for it to be above and beyond the other wrestling options right away.
Kinda like with kick starters and pre orders.

Leif Mackey the first match was great
and the second one was fun with funny spots and some wrestling inbetween

+Just a WARLORD yea I found the match pretty entertaining and enjoyed pretty much the whole thing.
If I were to give some constructive criticism it would be that the sound levels were a bit wonky, the crow could have been a bit louder, they were really into it and I wish I could here then better.
The commentary could use some improvement, but it was the first time and I'm sure they will get there.
Lastly there seemed to be a lot of wonky finishes, whichever I get, they need to get heat on the heels.
Overall it was pretty good and Blampied was a amazing heel, I can't help but cheer for him and how much of a magnificent bastard he is.
there's a difference between hating and not enjoying something. a lot of morons don't know the difference.
Things I haven't liked so far:
1) Bell is not audible
2) Don't need to see the wrestlers titantron separately. Seeing it from the ring screen is fine.
3) I don't get why the crowd was so quiet.
Other than that the show has been really great.

If you think, In more parts it means more money and that means better shows, so it's good.
Yeah they probably do it for the money to get better equipment and shows and to pay the wrestlers
They also get random viewers this way. If it was a single long video, random viewers would skip it because if they don't know what it is then they will probably not bother starting an hour+ video.
Better than WWE, doesn't put the commercials in the middle of the match.
It's the whole match and I really like it unlike WWE were they only upload like 2 minutes of shit.

WWE is a big business. If they uploaded every match in full no body would watch on T.V. and they would lose money
That's because this is the only way to watch it other than going to the event whereas wwe have multiple different ways to watch the product and if they uploaded full matches they'd lose tonnes of money

Everyone said this sucked, but was any pro wrestling promotion super good in their first episode? Are these people saying wwe, wcw, tna, roh, njpw, and other brands had spectacular first shows? The answer is no
The chat was incredibly cancerous during the live stream

WWE and WCW, those two promotions had legit wrestling back then, not what we got today, also half those people are old or dead.
ROH was once called the best place to watch pure wrestling and TNA was the future of it, so yeah. NJPW first episode aired in Japan only, good luck trying to find it.

That was great. There's always room for comedy matches on a card, especially on a show like WCPW. Ligero and Kirby played their parts perfectly.
Fast forward to the end of 2016 and who would've thought he'd be WCPW General Manager...
I already love Ligero. He has a personality without even talking, like the little thumbs ups he does.
He's like the characters in the movies with no talking, but is really awesome. Great wrestler.
Simon and Ross are in my opinion a very good choice for commentators. I like them.

Simon and King and need to stop fighting so much and focus more on the match. THere was so much funny stuff going on in ring and they were bickering among themselves

The most entertaining match of the nite imo i dont think the event lived up to my standards like ROH Or NJPW But its alot better than TNA or 3 Hour Raw i hope the event with Sandow will be better

This just brings a smile to my face. The match was for comedy/entertainment purpose and I think it was done so to cement a possible feud that can blossom between the two and even though there wasn't much wrestling there were some flashes of their skills like the Ligero's DDT. We are fans of wrestling and Whatculture are too, we should believe in them and support them as this could be the beginning of something beautiful and who knows it might one day reach greater heights and we can all look back with joy at how we were part of this

This is the kind of match 7 year old me would eat up like it was a sugar-filled breakfast cereal and watching it as an adult just gave me a fit of nostalgia, reminding me of a time when there was this odd showmanship-esque play going on while watching Saturday Morning Superstars. Way to go What Culture, you made me feel like a kid again.

I've been subbed to WhatCulture Wrestling (then WWE) since 15,000 subs with just a Kane and Taker video and can honestly say I am proud of these dorks. Really looking forward to what they can do with this awesome opportunity, and will be watching WCPW closely.

I wasn't expecting much from this match, but the instant Martin Kirby done a triple victory lap after a shoulder block I started laughing out loud.
I would like to say, though, that the opening commentary segment in this video is brilliant. Great job.

This match is the embodiment of pro wrestling. Great action, funny spots and comedy, and just all around being entertaining. Very pleased with both El Ligero and Martin Kirby.

Wow it took this match for me to realize how long I've been missing those just funny mid card matches. It reminded me of seeing a house show with Eddie Guerrero and how he was able to work the crowd with ease.

This was awesome! The match went back and forth between fun and dumb, then it got exciting, and now I'm excited for WCPW going forward. All we need is a little momentum, and this could be huge! Great job, everybody.

This is really good - I've been watching What Culture videos on and off for the last few weeks mostly out of nostalgia, but I hadn't really been into pro-wrestling since I was a teenager. ... WCPW seems to be changing that though, because this was seriously fun to watch.

This is the first time I've seen Martin Kirby, but I love him already. He reminds me of a modern day "Cyanide" Sid Cooper. You Brits will appreciate that reference. Anyway, loving WCPW!

I really like the artwork for the wrestlers. Everything was quite good for a first event. Crowd doubled themselves in size with their cheering. Well done what culture. Hope to see more in the future.
