The Strider leather is an absolute DREAM. I wanted a Buffalo Bill but Strider looks even better yet close! I ordered my first CS last November and we’re still in our honeymoon phase so to speak😂it’s a Waypoint Grand Canyon and it’s a squishy dream ❤
I recently received my first chic sparrow passport plus, and I love it! It’s a beautiful March leather in the Diego color. It is my favorite one ever. Thank you for the info you shared. 😊❤
@@JustScribble I’m using a hard back notebook. I started using one last March to journal in and make a week at a glance planner page. I found I love it, so happy with the pages. I did get that idea from @catwoods5499, she was showing hers and I decided to try it, very happy I did. Enjoy your Strider, it is beautiful. ❤️
Chic Sparrow is definately my favorite maker of TNs. I too am waiting for the No. 10 release! The May is lovely! I've never had a vivid color like that one! I only have one passport size and it is a classic, no pockets. It is the Sunflower and is just beautiful (I bought it in memory of my daughter, she loved Sunflowers). I miss the pockets!
Oh that's a wonderful TN to have! I do love the pockets - just to have them when I need them - especially to keep a washi card because I use them all the time as a ruler!
The last order I made in December I was able to get a regular passport as well. I hope they are here to stay and not just made from extra leftover leather
I think I may have bought 1 back when they launched them. Years ago they had something similar and I bought several times and really enjoyed it. Found leathers I never would have tried that I ended up loving and also got stuff for gifts for family/friends without breaking the bank. I find it's a good option if you are willing to try something new. It's not great if you are set in the types of leathers/styles - and aren't willing to branch out. if that makes sense.
There are quite a few thinner leathers that have very soft hands. Some are retired but still available. The Secret Garden leather used for the No10 design (this year's anniversary design) is very thin and flexible - but only if you order it unlined. The Artist, Express and Waypoint leathers are also all thin and soft in the hand. They do also provide explanations of their leathers in the listings as well as the approximate thickness so that can be helpful when searching and when they launch new leathers. They also do reels on IG of leathers sometimes too so definitely follow them there :)
Hey Shiv, I love your video content although I don't post comments too much but I would love to know where you found the Vinyl dashboard insert? I didn't see the link in your information but didn't quite hear where it was from? Also, I know you have discussed wallet inserts and EDCs but could you touch on any updates again or refer your best Vid on this? I'm stuck on what would work best for me but know I want a small EDC. Thank you for always being so inspirational always. Luv, Cynthia
The TN sleeve is from LaurenPhelpsDesigns. I have a video on the passport and standard from aboht a month ago. And just posted the video on the new sizes this am. Let me see if I have a good wallet insert video. I will be making another one soon and I’ve got an EDC video coming in February too. Thank you so much for your support and for watching.
@@JustScribble Thanks Shiv don't mean to be too nosey but you must have one hell of a nice job to afford all these new books? CS is not cheap but great quality; just wish I could afford a new one. Enjoy your content either way Luv ❤
@@JustScribble Thanks Shiv as I meant no disrespect with my comment; just was curious. I work a fulltime job myself. Just overworked and under paid. I just don't understand in our bad state of affairs how expensive these books can be and how quickly it can all add up if you don't jive with just one cover size or collect them for multiple uses. Been with you awhile and I appreciate your content either way🙏
Oh I didn’t take the comment negatively. I think like everyone these companies need to make money and keep up with rising costs. But I do myself get shocked when I see some cover collections. I do have a lot that I’ve acquired over the last 7+ years but majority were when prices were a lot lower and I bought the majority on sale, with coupons or using reward points. Or with gift money. 💵

Waypoint is phenomenal! Congrats on your first CS!
Gosh the texture on the Strider looks soooooooo good❤
It’s so good!! 😊

Yay! I'm so glad that you got one and love it! That's a gorgeous leather!!! What inserts are you using in it?

I'm so glad that she's doing regular passport size again. Your May and Strider are gorgeous!
Me too! Thank you :)
Passport size is my favorite size and so cute. Love those covers!
It’s such a wonderful size! Thanks for watching!

Time to shop the Overstock Sale!!! 😂😂😂
I snagged a passport plus Knightly and OH MY. It’s amazing. I love passport plus.
YAY! It's such a great size!!!!
That Strider leather!!
I've never purchased anything from Chic Sparrow, that changed last night. I bought an A5 cover in that gorgeous leather.
Oh wow! That's so exciting! I know you are going to love it! Their quality is top notch.
@@JustScribble it arrived today and it's perfection. Thank you so much for sharing that leather!
YAY!
My favorite penloop, too! Love the strider!! 🤩🤩🤩
It's so awesome! I love it so much more than Waypoint because it's veg tanned so it'll patina but doesn't have that oily feel. It's scrumptious!
Gorgeous.

I think they will stay because passport is making a comeback all over social media with planner peeps and they are doing passport in No10! 🤞🏻
I have May in Personal size and I love it!!
Awesome!! It's such a beautiful leather!

@@JustScribble Good to know. This is helpful. Thanks Shiv.
Always happy to help!
Strider is a recent launch
Yes - it was on preorder previously.
Hi! Do you know which Chic Sparrow leathers are the thinnest and most flexible? Thanks!
