  • The Tiaré flower and black pearls are victims of pollution and human avarice behind the picture-postcard backdrop, behind the chains of flowers and pearl jewellery. Specialists are worried by their decrease in productivity.
    That is, of course, without considering the incredible efforts of those who guard them, who never fail to update their image, vary their offerings, and preserve the cleanest environment possible in order to assure the continued development of these true gems of Polynesian history.

    When you do a voiceover you should lower the volume of the original voice. This is hard to follow because it's as if two people are talking at the same time at the same volume creating a confusing mix of words.

    It’s hard to understand the English translation when people are speaking. Would it be possible to turn the volume down on the background French?

      Agreed, the English translation was almost impossible to understand. After 5 minutes I just turned off the audio, and watched all the beautiful imagery.

    The garbled translation overlay made what would have otherwise been quite interesting very difficult to watch or enjoy. Darn.

    Love the story, but the only way to follow is to mute the volume because is horrible. Not sure what happened, but is not good hearing both languages at same time.

      @John Freddy As much as it may pain you to hear this it was inevitable if not Europeans it would’ve been someone else. Look at what the Japanese did to Asia in World War II or what China does the Asian now. Look at the history of Europe or Africa and it’s inner wars. Humans conquesting humans is nothing new, if not Europeans it would’ve been someone else. Do you know how much people still think Mexicans are the descendants of Aztecs?

    • @AnthonyBlamthony
      @AnthonyBlamthony ปีที่แล้ว

      @John Freddy Most Mexicans are descendants of other various groups who teamed with the Spanish and almost erased the Aztecs entire history while pushing them out and replacing them, taking land that was once the Aztec’s. Again humans conquesting humans is nothing new stop pretending it’s some rare unheard of thing.
      Like do you think African nations never fought/fight each other for land and resources before? Do you think that’s not about to ramp up massively as resources on earth start to dry up? Do you not know that that’s literally how humanity got to this point in the first place?

    What a horrible for the native tahitians to have almost lost their beautiful reo and replaced it with a colonised language such as french.

    • @danielvirginie1431
      @danielvirginie1431 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So only you should know a colonial language not them, when someone come to converse with them they cannot manage a colonial language, they will need a translator. Or maybe they should be speaking English instead. For your information, all French colonies have their own dialect and can still speak the colonial languages be it French, English or Spanish. Stop spreading this French hatred, it is now becoming too obvious!
