The reason why HSR failed is the Singapore insisted an independent 3rd party for train procurement/maintenance; a company free from governmental interferences to select/uphold the train systems~as per contract agreed/signed. (Why??? To Singapore ~ Malaysian authorities r known to “kopi” the selection of trains and “low budget/no budget” maintenance. Look at Hotels - good only for newly open, but full of cockroaches after few years operating).But the Dr M wanted to opt out of this binding condition. I hear some comments already on the trains selection n after numerous testings, train is breakdowns n delayed.
Hopefully, the government can opt for more public transportation accessible to the public. We need to use private vehicles less as it's a burden to climate change.

I know you are not rural spokesman, we need to enlighten your narrow mind also. KL/Selangor congested, many people that is why need train like transportation, rural need better road. That's all.
