    3 round 1 dlinemen and we can’t get any kind of pressure on Kirk (2 of them being in the top 13). Bryce huff is getting paid 55 mil being stood up by TEs
    Reality is the defense is not much improved from the collapse last season. Shoulda just paid Hassan

    My biggest biggest problem with him is that he doesn’t stay in the pocket or he don’t step up he needs to have/get great pocket presences and not buck off to the right every play literally that’s his one flaw that’s huge and not throwing into double coverage or hero ball whatever you want to call it just tweak those little things and he’ll be ok

    sirianni needs to get fired. he is aggresive when he doesnt need to be and at the dumbest times. He shouldve just taken the field goal in the first quarter. Having any players go deep when you have 20 seconds left a 1st down, one of the best kickers in the game and all you need is ten yards is beyond stupid. Please fire nick and hire bill belichik to whip this defense into shape they couldnt block an infant from running the ball left. just pathetic. fire nick fire nick fire nick.

    I really wish older quarterbacks that were in the NFL and played at a high level could break down this film because y'all dont know how plays are supposed to go. Y'all also only look at plays that are made. These plays alone show me so many bad things that Jalen does.

      @@tay14741 He killed drives by not making the right reads. Watch the Inside the Birds breakdown. There were plays that should've been as easy as Hurts throwing to a wide open receiver in front of him 10 yards deep and he didn't see them. It was bad.

  • @b.e.r.nnetwork8251
    @b.e.r.nnetwork8251 5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

    Running wise he was okay but quarterback wise he wasnt. He plays hero ball alot and doesnt work inside the concept of a play and more likely than not when he scrambles to his right the play is over. You can highlight one good pass he made to Devonta but I watched that game and there were multiple plays where he scrambles to the right and the play was no yards. Honestly, looking at your breakdown has me a little frustrated because you're wrong on just about every breakdown. The first play you go through is wrong and you should've showed the whole play because Devonta comes open later on in the play but I'll only address the part you showed. Red zone the ball needs to come out quick,the defense has less to defend and typically can make plays when the QB isnt decisive and Jalen played into that. QB's are better at breaking down a play because they know what they're supposed to do but let's start from the beginning. Saquon is put into motion no one follows him but you see the corner back up which means the corner is gonna take the guy thats threatening deep in a zone which is exactly what happens. Seeing that motion and knowing that it has to be quick my thought is let's not even go to Saquon let's look at Saquon and quickly come back to my left. And as you can see there's a guy that's open on the left side. Imo the defense played that left side wrong because they dropped back so far and they knew they only needed a few yards to convert. Going back to the play there's a guy that gets open quickly on the left but Jalen is so focused on his 1st read that he doesn't think about the left side at all and that's evident because he starts scrambling to his right for no reason. One could also say that he should've and could've hit Saquon early and they wouldn't be totally wrong. I could go on about this play but I won't. Second pass play which is another motion shows you that it's man and I personally don't like the play, I hate short curl routes! So I know that it's man I'm thinking about the route that can beat man since I don't love the other routes. From what I saw the only route that could've beat man was Goederts. Dallas does like a whip or return route and imo his guy is out of position but again Jalen isn't looking at that because he's focused on passing to the right. Jalen looks to the right and kind of shuffles then looks to his left but at that point I wouldn't even say he's ready to throw to his left. Now I will say I don't like the play but imo goedert was the guy the ball should've went to. Goedert is a good TE, he ran a route that can beat man and his man was behind him. The third passing play I can't touch because I couldn't see the whole thing. That fourth passing play where you said "nothing is really open" you're so wrong. It's good that he converted the 3rd down with his legs because Kenny Gainwell is so open over the middle. As the QB you have to get the ball to the playmakers but because Jalen can scramble he just doesn't. Kenny G is wide open and there's no pressure. The formation has everyone spread out that immediately should say to the QB, the middle should be open! It's man, they're off playing the sticks someone should uncover over the middle. Jalen makes the play but it's honestly the wrong play and had Atlanta made a play then it should've been 4th and 5 or so. The 5th passing play where he makes a beautiful pass to Devonta scrambling to his right is one reason why people go crazy over Jalen but if you slow that play down he shouldn't have done that and honestly if I were coaching someone I'd tell them don't do that when there's an easier play to be made. That's how other interceptions are created. You get into that mindset of playing hero ball and getting away with a play you think you can do that all of the time. Sauce Gardner or another corner would've deflected that or possibly intercepted it. I'll also say, that play didn't need to be made especially when you have Saquon and the tush push. Blitz coming, ball should be out quick to the guy doing a curl route which picks up 4 yards at least which would make it 3rd and 2. That play wasn't blown up by the blitz at all like you said, and honestly he could've led the open guy to the outside and he probably would've picked up the first down. I believe the guy was Dotson, I really don't know I'm just judging on his frame. The last play you break down is a horrible breakdown and honestly it sounds like you're in love with Jalen and can't see his faults. From how the defense is set up it looks like man post snap it looks like man. Going back to basic football USUALLY YOU CAN GET SOMEONE OPEN OVER THE MIDDLE WHEN ITS MAN. Usually running full speed over the middle will get you some type of separation against man and it does. AJ Terrell was playing Smitty on the outside and was trying to force him to the inside because of situational awareness. Also the safety had situational awareness. The only person who wasn't aware was Jalen. Britain Covey was open wider than a bootyhole in jail. Sorry I had to use that analogy but I had to. Not only is he open but I'm sure he gets out of bounds if Jalen throws a dart. It's almost as if Jalen is in his own head. Your breakdown of the pass plays that you presented deserve a D maybe an F. This wasn't a good video for you and it makes me question your ability to look at tape in the future.

    What is up with people saying you dont play ball as some kind of own? Football is a sport that like everybody plays at least once at some point and playing football in highschool, college or even the pros does not make your opinion more or less valid than somebody who has watched the sport. The only thing a "ball" statements means is, your not a deep thinker.

    Lamar and Jalen two mobile QB's but two different styles. Lamar isnt as accurate as Jalen but Jalen doesn't have the same amount of pocket presence. You can just tell that by looking at the game. You truly can't tell how good a QB is by looking at the game, you have to break down film and if im a DC then there's no way with all of this talent the eagles have will i let them beat me while Jalen is playing like this. Jalen isnt playing great football and he's missing the basics. If you break down tape and say he's playing good then you absolutely suck. I dont know him personally but Im starting to wonder how easy is he to work with. A lot of plays that he makes are frustrating as hell.

    Problem with jalen he has no timing with any of his receivers.
    While he is accurate he throws with no anticipation. He doesnt know where to place the ball to make it easier on their receiver and he isn't comfortable in the the pocket.

      @KniLsZZ I'm an eagles fan I love jalen I'm just keeping it real. He doesn't see the field as well as he could. He doesn't miss open wrs WHEN HE SEES THEM. But he doesn't always see them. He is quick to escape the pocket when he doesn't need to. He reacts to the defense instead of anticipating what they are going to do. Most new school qbs have the same issue
