Godzilla 1991 vs King Kong 1976 is by far my favorite fantasy matchup to ponder about. They’re my favorite designs for both characters. God, if only somebody would make an action figure of King Kong from the 76 film, I’d make it into a movie myself with stop motion!
I have a pretty crazy what if scenario that would probably quite a few videos to do but it has a lot of potential; What if *all* the Godzilla movies happened in the same continuity? This includes any non-Godzilla movies/TV shows confirmed to be canon to the Showa era, any Heisei kaiju movies like the Mothra trilogy and even the Gamera trilogy if you’d wanna do that, and some amalgamated version of the Millennium era. Also, all the Kong movies happen. The 1933 film is the world’s first exposure to giant monsters. The other Kongs are just different surviving members of the same species. Same goes with the Godzillas, with one or two exceptions. I’d imagine you probably wouldn’t attempt this as it’s way too big or expansive to along with your other projects, but it’s just a cool thought I had.
What about ultraman evangellion beast from 20,000 fathoms and even the dream sequence from 1969's all monsters attack because you could make this into a "what if all kaijju movies shared continuity"
Part 1: godzilla vs astrogodzilla long ago in an alternate universe an ancient godzilla had went mad with power, after absorbing to much energy this godzillas body was warped far beyond its original form, luckily other godzillas as well as another alpha species managed to banish this mutation monster from earth, wanting a new universe to conquer this mutated godzilla would then travel into a black hole absorbing massive amounts of energy and mutating even further, the monster would then amerge into a new universe via a white hole and would proceed to head to this universe’s earth A year has passed ever since godzilla had destroyed mechagodzilla and he as well as his adopted son were living in peace, that is until the newly dubbed astrogodzilla had attacked them both, astrogodzilla then proceeded to defeat godzilla and steal little godzilla, astrogodzilla would then attack Tokyo and then proceeded to teriform the earth into his image via crystals, he then trapped little godzilla as a way to lure godzilla to his whereabouts, the two would fight again and like last time astrogodzilla had the advantage, that is until a human shot a bullet containing a cowagalant of sorts at him, it weakened astrogodzilla thus allowing godzilla to put down this mutant version of himself, with little godzilla freed the two would then head back into the ocean Post credits scene: deep underwater at Tokyo bay lies a mutated custation of sorts
Part 2: godzilla vs varan Deep in the artic lies an ancient beast having been sealed away long ago by godzillas ancestors, however due to global warming this beast had been awakened once more, having sensed a surviving member of the species that has sealed him away long ago, the almighty varan will have his revenge The events that transpire a just like that of godzilla vs mechagodzilla 2 however instead of mechagodzilla it is varan, varan and godzilla would meet and fight with varan easily overpowering godzilla, and throwing him into the sea, varan then sensed a newborn godzilla and headed out to find it, varan would then meet fire Rodan and would overcome the bird, however just before varan could kill the baby godzilla the adult godzilla would appear and the two would fight, varan then proceeded to kill godzilla however hope was not lost, fire Rodan would sacrifice himself thus bringing godzilla back to life in the process, with his newfound power godzilla was able to kill varan, after that the baby godzilla and godzilla would meet each other and the two would head out to sea In space, a mutated clone of godzilla would amerge out a white hole and would head towards earth
There's pre production footage of Godzilla fighting Robo-kong Toho was waiting for the Rights For Kong but DINO DELURENTIS Didn't want to let it go So there went that movie the video was here on TH-cam but I can't find it
I feel the huge spoiler at the beginning of the movie that King Kong was already beaten by Godzilla would piss off a ton of Kong fans. I’m good what if anyway.
In my opinion: Heisei Kong would have stronger muscles that he can able to grab his tail and *(barely)* throws Godzilla with his strength. But Godzilla has atomic breath, nuclear pluses which Kong has to be careful. He would use any items to be used as a weapon, he be a little faster than Godzilla, if he's able to dodge his atomic blasts, Kong would gets hurt badly if he's get hit one of Godzilla's atomic breath. But Godzilla and Kong would actually share the same pain. Because of loneliness, no families, and the last of their kind, in the end it would show they would share the same benefits for each other, as they don't sees each other enemies. *(like Batman and Superman)* And that Kong would have humans interactions just like the other films, that the humans would feel sympathy for Kong. Heisei Kong would have electric, god powers *(as it was showed by Showa Kong)* if it was used to team up with Burning Godzilla to fight Destroyoah. His full power is enough to lift Destroyoah's body and throw him in the ground, his electric powers can shock Destroyoah body that he can't move his body, to make a perfect aim for Burning Godzilla to blast him. But Destroyoah could give Kong a deadly scar with his horn just like what he did to Godzilla. So Kong has to fight smarter.
Godzilla would still be physically stronger than kong. Kong has never really demonstrated the level of strength Godzilla has in any film he's stared in. Meanwhile Godzilla is casually tossing around Mecha G, Ghidorah both of which are far heavier than Big G.

And Kong has none of that but if he could be stronger, and Agility to dodge his atomic breath. Would be a fair fight. But then again Godzilla would win this fight as in Mid Difficulty.

Gravely injuries Godzilla? You do know Heisei Godzilla has a healing/regeneration factor and it takes merely seconds for him to heal. Plus Godzilla is super charged here. But it’s fine. He still wins. Cuz in the original script to the 1991 Godzilla vs King Kong, Godzilla won and killed Kong easily.
