I feel the glitch when Pear finds out is on purpose. I think that the real RoyalMelon was swapped out with a decoy, especially since in The Boss’s most recent video Cdot(who captured Melon to save him) also thinks he’s in Wizzle. The Boss is tricking everyone moreso than we could possibly imagine
I noticed how inconsistent the decoy is. Through out the video his eyes are either open or closed, maybe it’s his conscious trapped there and is programmed to be unable to move

If that's the case then how do you explain the melon-pear mashed up thing that's showed up recently? Shouldn't melon just be normal if he's back even if he's not on our side anymore? And the shorts melon has been making are still out of character but then again season 2 pear lore is so complicated that I honestly don't even know anymore
I actually don't think it's entirely debunked though, because you're actually forgetting a small brief detail: After pear sends bundun\dunbun out of wizzle and before sending himself out, pear walks over to the "decoy" melon (who, keep in mind, also seemed to glitch before the reveal with his own glitch effect instead of the normal shorts wars glitching) and looks at it\him and says "let's go home, my friend" and when it cuts back after he lands the shot, not only is pear gone, *so is the "decoy"*. if it truly wasn't melon and just a fake, why would pear seemingly send the decoy out of wizzle alongside him?
I think Melon was trying to warn Pear that it was a decoy and that he needed to leave as soon as possible. (Some of those Melon video's contained messages saying like "PEAR STOP YOU CAN'T." and "PEAR LEAVE'" and something around the lines of you should leave wizzle. It was excellent forshadowing, but Pear failed to be able to see the Melon videos in time before his capture and put into a video game. After Endgame Events however, Pear and Melon have made it out of the facility! (At least we think so) Sorry for the detailed lore explanation, but when I see theories need to be made, no matter where and when, I shall make them lol.
