Professionally speaking, there's a huge community of OP fans on youtube that enjoy watching people take their OP journey. I've seen channels blow up in a matter of months just for starting it. OP fans will got you if you decide to start reacting to it.
Imagine that feeling Ashley is having in the end of that video happening 100x over and every arc it gets bigger and bigger. Even now in the latest episodes and chapters my mind is still exploding 🤯😊❤
Bro, you saw her cry at the end of the video. As her nakama, it'd be a disservice to not go one this journey together with her, and honestly, I'd be completely down to watch.
"People's dreams...never end!" A great choice for a final line, one that gives me shivers. It hits especially hard knowing the context of who is saying, and why. One Piece is a very long journey, but it's one well worth taking.
I love the thumbnail with luffy giving ashley her well deserved hug 😭❤ I love this channel I hope you get to watch or read one piece some time. It's an experience that you will probably cherish for a long, long time. It's a wonderfull story that's all about fighting for your freedom, standing up against oppression alongside your loved ones, and adventures into islands beyond your wildest imaginations!
Oda is one of the only authors where I truly felt like he was waaaaaaaaay smarter than me. He knows so much. So much in One Piece is inspired by events in history and idk how he even has the time to research and know about all that stuff. It's crazy to me
You probably didn't recognize things from the video because they took stuff from movies and specials, that's also why the animation style was so varied.
When I heard that it was in the final saga too I got an existential crisis AAAAAAAH. I've been a fan for more than a decade and hearing that was.... idk what to say. After watching the live action I rewatched the anime (I skipped the filler parts), and then I watched tons of reactors react to the live action and the anime just so I could relive the emotions again. I just don't want it to end 😅
chasing ur dreams no matter what is a major plot point of the show. multiple characters chasing their own dreams is One Piece in a nutshell a yr ago i gave it a shot and im now halfway there and cant shut up ab how good it is. i rarely cry watching anything and this goofy show has made me cry so much its ridiculous. and its not just sad cries, its happy cries too to newcomers all i can say is just watch the first 46 eps which is the east blue saga. if u like it, then u'll love the whole show. if not at least u know whats the vibe and the got to know the main crew
I love watching people watch one piece. I wish I could watch it all over for the first time. I was so captured by one piece I Binge watched from Ep 1 to at the time End of the First Half of the Grand Line (Which is about 520 eps at the time) in 2 weeks over a break during college.
i feel like a kid reading one piece it takes me to a different world v similar to how in narnia how they're in a completely different world past that cupboard that's how i feel about OP ❤ It will always be my first love
My opinion, if u watch One Piece you should not think about catching up the latest episode. Do not rush, just enjoy your ride and appreciate what is in front of you. Trust me, if u rush, you might loose some tiny beauty it offers😊
Ha! I'm pretty old and just got around to watching One Piece for the first time this year... I purposely stopped watching around episode 950 ha! Because I don't want to catch up to new chapters. Because I love it so much.
Dreams, the will of people being passed down to others to carry on is a very central (probably the most important) pillar of the story. One of the most impactful and memorable quote from the story: "When do you think people die? When they are shot through the heart by the bullet of a pistol? No. When they are ravaged by an incurable disease? No. When they drink a soup made from a poisonous mushroom!? No! It’s when… they are forgotten."
Hello, I don't know how I ended up here but I'm from Brazil and I decided to tell you about my experience of more than 10 years following One Piece. After reading some comments on this video I see many of my own experiences reflected. One Piece is a story that has been there my whole life. It doesn't matter what language we speak, because One Piece is universal, something that anyone can recognize, something that will make us laugh. It's always good to be able to talk about One Piece, as I've been in the One Piece community for over 10 years, I can say without fear of making mistakes that it doesn't matter which media you start with, the community will give you all the support
Happy you landed here! That's incredible that you've been following along for 10 years! We're so excited to start this journey soon. We just released a poll on whether you all think we should start with the live action, or the anime first 😊 Make sure to check it out!
i always say that watching one piece is not about catching up. its about the journey. so i would recomend watching the og anime in ur own pace, no mather how many episodes per week u react or how fast ur watching it. ppl are gonna love it either way. and at some point ur thinking to urself, how fast this was over and wish for more episodes ❤
All I can say is, life’s too short, you don’t know what happens in the future if you really want to watch it just go ahead and watch it 😁 Don’t let anything stop you from watching something you enjoy 👌🏼 I 100% agree with you that OP is the greatest story ever told and guess what, it only gets better 😭😭
@@tobototoki I don't recoment live action unless you are feeling too lazy to start. Although the live action is good, it isn't near the original source. Also, the live action have huge spoilers that is only shown in anime after 300 episodes, far beyond the point where the history of live action is taken.
Watching this video makes me jealous because you can tell one piece is a show that Ashley will love. All the core themes like dreams, adventure, joy you can just tell she’ll love it im so jealous 😭
You’re so right - if I could erase my memory of One Piece and start over, I think I would. I’m really glad you’re able to join us for this ride ❤️ it will take a long time, but we’re here for the entire journey!

thank you so much for joining our tobototoki family ❤️. We're very happy to have you here!! We'll be sure to keep you all updated on how we'll tackle One Piece!
I can't believe I hadn't seen your reaction to this yet! This video does include scenes from the movies too. That's probably why some of them don't seem familiar. I've _never_ been able to make it through The Breathtaking World of One Piece without crying, not when watching it on my own, and not when watching reactors react to it. It's so beautifully done. It's an incredible journey you've started. This is The Odyssey for the modern world. This story goes beyond anime and manga. It goes beyond fantasy. The story and the world - fiction writers should study this. This is a masterpiece. I don't say that lightly. I am dreading the day when it ends. At this point, these characters are almost real. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.
So I'm mnot the only one crying at the end of the video! I think it comes from the epicness of the music and the chosen words. I'm a huge OP fan and I cry watching it, because it can be so damn emotional, but this is definitely the music here.
If that was the reaction to just the end of that video, this show will probably be for you (you are not ready). Although no story is perfect and everyone has their tastes, I agree with Dennis and personally feel this is and most likely will be the greatest story told in our lifetime. Not trying to overhype it but I got into anime and was always into books from a young age but always thought OP looked too goofy for me to get into it. I eventually gave it a shot almost 15 years ago and has become my favorite story, waiting like a fiend to analyze each chapter weekly. In a way OP made me feel more human. If you choose to take the plunge I look forward to following your journey. Subbed!
First of all, thank you for agreeing with me, I can tell you're a person with taste 😁. Dude i'm the exact same way, I look forward to every chapter. We will definitely be taking the plunge! Thank you so much for joining along with us!
@@tobototoki Likewise aha. I'll chime in with some interesting non spoiler information during your journey that my 15 years of analyzing One Piece have afforded me to make the journey all the more fun! Cheers and looking forward for what comes! 😎
Not yet!!! Dennis has though. I'm seeing mixed reviews here saying watch the LA before the anime. At the moment, I'm thinking we go the anime route first!
Asking too late for "Are you crying?" I already crying into 15 seconds of this breathtaking video😭 maybe because I already watching One Piece, I love it and forever will💜 thank you for the reaction
You gonna love one piece for some reason coz one piece is real life unlike to other shonen This is fantasy but the world of one piece can related in our real world
Chiming in as a disabled vet that literally needed to be retaught how to properly feel and express emotion again, Oda has created something with One Piece that has a direct line to my heart and soul, and there is so much in this world he made and the character/relationship dynamics established that you can show me any of the "emotional hits" moments in this "children's show"(hate when people say this xD) and my breathe will guaranteed catch in my chest with a good 75% chance of rain from my face.
@@tobototoki kind of you! But soon you shall see I and many others are here for your TEARS IMUhahahahHAHAHAHA. (That's mainly for your comment checker to chuckle at, since they too likely feel tight chested with a single musical note and a still photo of certain parts of the series xD)
As a OP's fan since 97' , this video made me emotional also. So really good fan made without spoilers and awesome edition and music (I think i recognize one from Batman and one from Avatar 1). Thing about not remember some islands is maybe because some came from so many movies (more than 10 movies) too. If they made a MMORPG, like WOW, this would be awesome because there are so many islands that we could have story in past/present/futur. If Blizzard for example take the case, they could have so many people for this OP's MMORPG. Oda is an awesome story teller and the fact he successfully make us cry for some objet (no spoil) for example is amazing.
You earned your self a new subscriber I had watched this video so many time including watch people react to it and everytime i feel emotional specially the point we are in manga always shout endgame.
I don't know if Oda traveled around the world before writing One Piece, but I know he has done extensive research on pirates because based on the characters that he creates. Some of the characters resemble actual real people including names as well. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, is Oda's biggest influence.
Maybe the reason why u get emotional to it is, the narrative it self talking about unexplored world, and showing new adventure in our thought. A feeling that we never felt since we're just a kid. Or maybe we just tired with the explored reality, we tired knowing and disappointing. This video give hope, give another opportunity to explore things. For me this video push me back, let me see bigger picture about world. Remind me that our world isn't small and dark as we thought.
We don't know about the queality of what is yet to come, but we know we already have the greatest story made right on front of us. So just devour what we already have * - *

i really enjoyed listening to a long-time fan rant about one piece! i myself only got into one piece recently but already love it as well. this was nice! thank you!
I think you both could give the Live Action a chance , even if you can't commit to the anime (yet) . The remake is very likely to take a few years to release , and will only initially cover the East Blue Saga . By the time is out , Season 2 of the live action will most likely already be out . Of course i say that hoping that the Live action draws and hype you in enough to forego all fears and start the current anime lol
Little summary: Gold Roger, the hailed “King of the Pirates”, sailed and left all his treasure at the final island on this random super dangerous area/sea. It’s nearly impossible to get to and the Government executes him to deter any further pirates from forming - but instead they get inspired and set out to find his final treasure - the “One Piece”. The story follows a man named Monkey D Luffy around 20 years following Roger’s death, and he is a 17 year old pirate looking to do exactly what you’d think. Form a crew to sail and find the One Piece and become the next King of the Pirates.
Streaming? Marathon stream. I know some reactors do post 5-7 hour videos of them finishing a whole arc. If you guys are down to binge. I like to play those videos in the background ;DDD
Funny story, there's a video called something like "One Piece, the greatest story ever told". It's amazing storytellingwise, but maybe has too many spoilers to have someone new watching it, especially if they're already sold on watching the show. It still helps show people OP is more than a "kid story about too happy pirates with bad charadesign" (which basically summarize the worst comments online coming from people who have never watched the show...).

(This is Dennis) - probably the most beautiful thing I've read in a long time! Thank you for sharing this!
UPDATE: We've just launched a poll to get your guys' opinions on how you'd like us to start with One Piece! If you'd like to vote, please check out our latest Community post. SO EXCITED TO START
Professionally speaking, there's a huge community of OP fans on youtube that enjoy watching people take their OP journey. I've seen channels blow up in a matter of months just for starting it. OP fans will got you if you decide to start reacting to it.
we will definitely be reacting to it in one way or another!
When the ancient kingdom appear goosebumps is real
1000+ episode plus 15 movies. I will always love it over anything else, It's own cultures and themes much more that show our own world in it.
"why am i crying" me every 20 or so episodes
So true lol
Imagine that feeling Ashley is having in the end of that video happening 100x over and every arc it gets bigger and bigger.
Even now in the latest episodes and chapters my mind is still exploding 🤯😊❤
Dennis here - you and me both!! Excited to bring her into the OP journey!
Bro, you saw her cry at the end of the video. As her nakama, it'd be a disservice to not go one this journey together with her, and honestly, I'd be completely down to watch.
haha bro we are DEFINITELY going down this journey. Just figuring out how we're gonna fit this into the schedule!
If she cried with the words of Blackbeard in the end of this video, she isn't ready for One Piece. She will cry her eyes out! hahahaha
I should have Dennis make a video tallying compilation of every time I cry when we watch and react to release at the end 😂😂😂
"People's dreams...never end!"
A great choice for a final line, one that gives me shivers.
(This is Dennis) - Ashley is literally the thumbnail Queen. I can't wait for her to experience everything about OP! IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN
Oda is one of the only authors where I truly felt like he was waaaaaaaaay smarter than me. He knows so much. So much in One Piece is inspired by events in history and idk how he even has the time to research and know about all that stuff. It's crazy to me
You understand that this video is very well made when it makes you cry without even having red the manga yet
This is big facts 🙌
Also you can watch the live action, is a good adaptation with 8 episodes, it covers like the first arc of the original material
Start watching cause it hits different when you're up to date. And you know the ending will be the best one ever.
we definitely will watch!
You probably didn't recognize things from the video because they took stuff from movies and specials, that's also why the animation style was so varied.
ah that makes sense
When I heard that it was in the final saga too I got an existential crisis AAAAAAAH. I've been a fan for more than a decade and hearing that was.... idk what to say. After watching the live action I rewatched the anime (I skipped the filler parts), and then I watched tons of reactors react to the live action and the anime just so I could relive the emotions again. I just don't want it to end 😅
My friend .. SAME. Also btw - we just checked out your art page and HOLY you are SO talented!!! Do you take commissions? 👀👀👀 haha
Same here dude. 9/10. Kihings will be here.
@@PriyanGshuuu So talented with art. 9.5/10
I’m a new sub, and a new watcher of one piece. I started about a month ago and I’m already around the mid 500s in terms of episodes. Can’t get enough!
lol
thank you for coming along this journey with us! Wow you're going through it FAST!
Subbed for One Piece. I can see on how you two talk about things that this will be such a journey.
Welcome aboard! ❤️❤️
chasing ur dreams no matter what is a major plot point of the show. multiple characters chasing their own dreams is One Piece in a nutshell
a yr ago i gave it a shot and im now halfway there and cant shut up ab how good it is. i rarely cry watching anything and this goofy show has made me cry so much its ridiculous. and its not just sad cries, its happy cries too
to newcomers all i can say is just watch the first 46 eps which is the east blue saga. if u like it, then u'll love the whole show. if not at least u know whats the vibe and the got to know the main crew
thank you for your insight!! I'm excited to happy and ugly/sad cry all at the same time very soon!
I love watching people watch one piece. I wish I could watch it all over for the first time. I was so captured by one piece I Binge watched from Ep 1 to at the time End of the First Half of the Grand Line (Which is about 520 eps at the time) in 2 weeks over a break during college.
That's CRAZY! Did you set a world record? 😂
i feel like a kid reading one piece it takes me to a different world v similar to how in narnia how they're in a completely different world past that cupboard that's how i feel about OP ❤ It will always be my first love
Dennis feels the same way!!
People's dreams never end
~from a Kind and a loving man
Dreams, the will of people being passed down to others to carry on is a very central (probably the most important) pillar of the story.
One of the most impactful and memorable quote from the story:
"When do you think people die?
“People’s dream… never end!” One of the few very iconic lines from One Piece.
Well said!
@@tobototoki Thank you 😊
"Are you crying?"
"Yeah I don't know why!"
Welcome to One Piece.
I thought I was the only one who loved the words at the end "People dreams never end" Its amazing bcs its true.
it is!!
React to the live action, which cover 80% of East Blue Saga in 8 episodes. And if Ashley says MOAR, then Star the anime.
hahahaha thank you for your recommendation!
@@tobototoki I don't recoment live action unless you are feeling too lazy to start. Although the live action is good, it isn't near the original source. Also, the live action have huge spoilers that is only shown in anime after 300 episodes, far beyond the point where the history of live action is taken.
1 person created it... One team Draws it... Multiple teams animate it... the whole world gets to enjoy and live it out...
Well said ❤️
Oda began writing/planning one piece when he was 14 years old.
HOLY! That is incredible
Yea that's why it kinda starts in more a childsh way and only matures with time
Watching this video makes me jealous because you can tell one piece is a show that Ashley will love. Being able to experience the journey for the first time again is something we all wish to do and so we watch reactions like this.
@@tobototoki ahahahah thanks for replying, I’ll definitely keep watching and can’t wait to see updates of Ashleys one piece journey!!
Hands down this is the best one piece edit. Makes me cry everytime.
Can confirm, greatest story ever told. You got the motivation now to watch it and that's a great time to start xD Subbing for the inevitable OP reactions to come!
thank you so much for joining our tobototoki family ❤️.
One piece is peak fiction. Perfect place to start is the live action now that we have one which is well doctored given the length of the first arc.
So I'm mnot the only one crying at the end of the video! I think it comes from the epicness of the music and the chosen words. I'm a huge OP fan and I cry watching it, because it can be so damn emotional, but this is definitely the music here.
Music choice was chefs kiss! Happy to hear i'm not the only one crying as well! 😂
People's Dreams have no end!! It hit hard cuz you're a dreamer!!!!!!
❤️❤️
I don't know if One piece is the best story ever told, but it surely is the best story I know by a good margin.
Gotta be up there with The Odyssey and LOTR.
Im locked in for 1000+ episodes ! You both are amazing !!
YOU'RE AMAZING ❤️
Have you guys watched the One Piece live action?
Not yet!!! Dennis has though. I'm seeing mixed reviews here saying watch the LA before the anime. At the moment, I'm thinking we go the anime route first!
yeah, i think i can agree with alot of the people saying to look into the live action, its a great dive into the world of One Piece.
Asking too late for "Are you crying?" I already crying into 15 seconds of this breathtaking video😭 maybe because I already watching One Piece, I love it and forever will💜 thank you for the reaction
Thank you for your comment! ❤️ Expect more tears in our One Piece reactions 😂
@@tobototoki Yeah for sure
I'm never getting tired of people reacting to this masterpiece!
Always a joy finding new reactors to One piece
You gonna love one piece for some reason coz one piece is real life unlike to other shonen
This is fantasy but the world of one piece can related in our real world
"people's dreams, never end"
Chiming in as a disabled vet that literally needed to be retaught how to properly feel and express emotion again, Oda has created something with One Piece that has a direct line to my heart and soul, and there is so much in this world he made and the character/relationship dynamics established that you can show me any of the "emotional hits" moments in this "children's show"(hate when people say this xD) and my breathe will guaranteed catch in my chest with a good 75% chance of rain from my face.
First off, thank you for your service!! We're so glad you found this channel and stick around with us as we relive all the stories of One Piece
If there is ever a One Piece MMORPG, I would die a happy man
You earned your self a new subscriber
I had watched this video so many time including watch people react to it and everytime i feel emotional specially the point we are in manga always shout endgame.
Welcome to the Tobototoki fam!❤️ Very happy to have you join in on our adventure! :)
I don't know if Oda traveled around the world before writing One Piece, but I know he has done extensive research on pirates because based on the characters that he creates. Some of the characters resemble actual real people including names as well. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, is Oda's biggest influence.
yes Dennis mentioned this to me after!
600 chapters is when i started my 3rd reread. i am so old...
We cry with you sister o7
thank you for crying with me!! 😂
Remind me that our world isn't small and dark as we thought.
well said and so very true. thanks for sharing this ❤️
is that a giant ? yeah technically, but more tame than AOT one
The fact that you didn't know why are you crying while watching this❤
hahaha yes it was hard to articulate my emotions at the time when we were watching!
You just can feel that one piece is a fucking good series when a exposition video aobut the environtment makes your tear up :D same hear xd
“End in a couple of years “ hahahahaha
We don't know about the queality of what is yet to come, but we know we already have the greatest story made right on front of us. So just devour what we already have * - *
This is what you get when you actually care about your characters and specially Worldbuilding.
Goda
The people dream never end always make me cry a little
Finish whatever you're watching right now and when its done watch it in a few episodes at a time..
This is one of my favorite anime! After I watched the Live Action. I binged watch the anime right away and I finished it for 4 months and now I’m waiting for another episode 1094😅
holy crap 4 months is FAST!
yes!! 12-15 ep per day haha@@tobototoki
When this amazing story finally ends... I'll be sad it's over, but I'll bet happy because we discovered the One Piece!
I don't know how I arrive to this video but I enjoyed a lot and I want you can watch this awesome adventure.
thank you so much! Glad you stumbled upon us!
Since you started it, there's no turning back 👌🏴☠️
The best story ever read or watch ❤️
i really enjoyed listening to a long-time fan rant about one piece! i myself only got into one piece recently but already love it as well. this was nice! thank you!
so nice to hear you enjoyed my love for One Piece! We're in the endgame now
PEOPLES DRAMS NEVER END - Said the nicest person ever.
😂😏
I think you both could give the Live Action a chance , even if you can't commit to the anime (yet) . The remake is very likely to take a few years to release , and will only initially cover the East Blue Saga . By the time is out , Season 2 of the live action will most likely already be out . Of course i say that hoping that the Live action draws and hype you in enough to forego all fears and start the current anime lol
After watching this fanmade video, I can confirm that there's no fear in starting this adventure!
ONE PIECE ! ❤❤❤❤
Form a crew to sail and find the One Piece and become the next King of the Pirates.
my man zehaha's quote at the end is really well placed
it is!
Streaming? Marathon stream. I know some reactors do post 5-7 hour videos of them finishing a whole arc. If you guys are down to binge. I like to play those videos in the background ;DDD
One piece world building>>>>> Any other anime.
One piece 💓
i think you wrote it backwards
@@izanagi6628 I wrote it correctly.
😂😂😂
Surprised you haven’t gone full send on this. Never watched your channel but it’s always amazing to watch new OP fans start their journey
We’re releasing our reactions to ep 1-2 next Tues :)
If you watch one piece you never forgets all characters! Every arc ❤❤
Funny story, there's a video called something like "One Piece, the greatest story ever told". It's amazing storytellingwise, but maybe has too many spoilers to have someone new watching it, especially if they're already sold on watching the show. It still helps show people OP is more than a "kid story about too happy pirates with bad charadesign" (which basically summarize the worst comments online coming from people who have never watched the show...).
for the places you dont recognize they were from some of the 20 movies out there
