I used to work for a dentist who taught me how to solve a rubix cube in between patients. The beauty of such lessons is the languages learned in between. I learned algorithms and the patterns in everything just by work side by side with this man. His lessons and algorithms were a little different, because we started with the flower pattern, then the yellow face, but maybe it was white. I don’t remember 🙄
The names you are using for the different faces of the cube are not what is the standard for pretty much every method around. Anyways this works if you use this only but you have to teach yourself a completely different set of names of the face names. You are calling the top of the cube top but its normally called up / U that's just one example. Anyways you should use the standard names it will help to prevent new people from being confused when they see this being completely different from everything else out there in terms of tutorials/ algorithms. Anyways thanks for the video it eas interesting to see your take on the cube i don't personally need a tutorial ive known how to solve the cube for many years since I was a kid. Thanks again.🙂👍✌

Again just my opinion but I think it's a very common opinion the easiest and best way to start the cube is by forming referred to as the Daisy on the yellow face put the weight squares in their respective positions on the yellow side and then flipping them up to the top once you've created the daisy then you can place the corners in there correct place for the very simple algorithm then the first layer is done.🙂👍✌

Exactly as I remember it from the early 80s. A girl solved it in under a minute and I first couldn't believe it because of all the "it needs an Einstein level genius" myths. She taught me and it was easy. You don't need to know why, just how. It's kind of easy with the top layer, but then it gets ridiculously difficult even trying to understand the math. At the 12 minute mark, you refer to the 1 of the 4 corners to be correct. What gives you the indication that this is in the correct position, but the other 3 are not in the correct position?
By the colors on the other sides of that square.for example if it is a white square on top and orange on the right side then there should be an orange Square in the center of the right side. Or if it was white on the top blue in the side facing you then there needs to be a blue square in the middle of the side facing you

I use the "mechanic's method" of solving the Rubik's Cube. I take it apart and put it together solved.
Or pull off the colored stickers and reattach them in the right order. The "cheaters method".
With all the stickers pulled off, it can be both solved and mixed up at the same time. Of course, that'd be a "Schrodinger's Cube".
