Vintage soul and funk with modernized sounds, and a sprinkle of Princely ideas here and there. It's great, needless to say. There are some interesting harmonies in many tracks, I'm really digging this and I'm only on first listen.

Well since I saw Judith live I'll never forget. Even if this album is still missing of post convencional free spirit and a melting that make her soul more smooth on her composing feeling, she is a Star in the sky. Love her.
Fantastic album - your best yet in my opinin! The album's sound is diverse yet cohesive, both retro and daring, profoundly anchored in a live experience of music. The track list makes sense, the transitions are great, it really takes us on a beautiful journey. Silence is perhaps my favorite : a perfect bass line with a touch of psychedelic rock made for a gorgeous track, amplified by the beautiful lyrics and vocal performance. I loved all the moments in the album that really let the studio live jam shine : Wanderer, Step Out and other tracks have wonderful moments like this (I have a particular affection for the djembé/drum solos). Candlelight in the Dark is a beautiful track, with a lush production that called Prince's Call My Name to mind. I appreciated the message of friendship and hope that came through at the end of the album. Thank you for this gift of great music, I will cherish this album and I hope to enjoy your live performances again soon.
I haven't bought an album in a long time. I just did. This young lady is so talented. She was referenced by Kelly Clarkson on her show as an artist that Kelly would not try to cover. That's saying something. After hearing Ms. Hill, I understand. So yeah, I now have her new album and I'm glad I found her. Yeah, it is kind of interesting that she was working with them shortly before these legends passed away. I can only imagine how she has probably struggled mentally with this. Especially how close she was with Prince...and to have been on the plane with him when he lost consciousness before dying a few days later. We will learn more when she writes her autobiography later...
