(Yes I am the guy who recently emailed you about pipes) I'm seeing lots of upgrades I'd like to do to my bike in this video. Mostly all of the protection and controls. Also good to know I can plate my bike here in Texas.
*I need help answering my odd questions!* The up and coming *_DRZ4S_* what I look forward to own and mod. I wonder what cushdrive hubs would fit that bike in order to get that hub in a form of complete tubeless wheel set from *VMX* There's no info about interchangeability between adv/dirt/dual sport bikes in terms of wheel hubs. Spacing, axle diameter, offset of the sprocketdisc... many things need to align(including the stars) to achieve this impossible quest. I really really want that X pattern tubeless BMW GS wheel look!
@@thomas930409 get some good rims if you will ride real offroad. Not those cheap onces. You will regret it when you hit the first big stone which you haven't seen. And then without a tube-you will be lost in the woods or wherever. If you think... You really need cushdrive hubs, get some g2 hubs.
Awesome build! I’m Waiting on a detailed ‘24/‘25 KTM xcf-w build. Quick question to Mike or audience; other than keyed ignition/remote kill switch, what else can/should be done for anti-theft? (Assume bike is plated and insured)
Nice build, I have ridden those bikes they are nice....I see these 50 state legal bikes and wonder if Im legal to ride my converted Beta in all 50 states, or does it just mean they can be registered in all 50 states where mine can not?
You mentioned some company that makes a reinforcement for where the lower bolt is on the tail section/subframe connection point to frame… what was that?
@@TACOMOTOCO you are right. But for 90 % its enough. I only read the dozens of questions, WHICH TOWER...and i thought if u dont ride baja, eco race or dakar and just want a good navigation mount, its def. a good thing to try.
These new breed of sickeningly expensive dirt bikes are puzzling? I'm still rolling on my carbed dual sport 2012 Beta 498. Mine can do everything this can without all the hassle of FI and plating issues. Why the windscreen? I did an Iron Butt on mine with just a good helmet and Airhawk seat cover.

We’re with you on old bikes, big memories and low budget fun! We turned a stripped down 83’ Goldwing into an ADV bike and had massive fun w that thing for a few years so we fell you.
You don't take your money to the grave. Why not invest in something you love if you're doing it forever. Currently dualsporting an 06 husky 450 but I'm definitely doing this stuff once I start making big bucks
450 is not better than 500/501 for dual sport and you know this so why the dumb title? weird man, weird - i have a 450 and many of my friends do too, i also run an sxf 450 and an exc 500 so i know.
Huh? It’s still a bit of a unicorn. This wide ratio 450 doesn’t exist in this gen except in 2023. The 450 vibrates slightly less than the 500 and revs slightly higher. Plus it doesn’t have all the emissions stuff on it.

TOWER. For everybody who is asking for a tower, just get a adventure spec mini fairing and you re good 2 go. Light, stable und enough.
That’s a novel little clip on, and for some will be very adequate.
