Amazing work guys. Your previous work exposing Reaves and DLO's defensive lapses really helped wake them up. They now put good effort on defense. So keep it coming.
Insightful analysis as always, Pete. Gives us more to notice in upcoming games. Excited for Dalton to continue to develop. Could be a difference maker.
Man I’ve been watching you since the days you broke down Mozgov’s impact on the Lakers! 😅 I’ve been coming back to your content every week for yrs because you’re, hands down, the most insightful/consistent lakers content creator out there. Was so excited when you first joined the Lakers, and I’m even more excited for whatever you got cooking next. Thanks for what you do. I’m a Lakers fan, Mikeeeeey
I love how he aggressively attacks the basket. I know that he gets stuffed by the defender half of the time, but I still like the aggression. His reads will improve and he will develop the ability to change his angle of attack in air.
Been waiting for a DK film session. Can’t wait for you to do another follow up on DK after all star break. And interested to see if JJ keeps him in the starting rotation once Vando or Rui gets back. Now let’s say they do, I wonder how Dalton and DLo pair with the second unit. Until then I’m not worried why fix something that’s not broken. Ride it and adjust accordingly. Coach Reddick has been great at it thus far. DK’s defensive shortcomings are in hindsight nothing I’m extremely worried about as much as his rhythm has carried and aided AD/Bron on the offense. I’m more happy to see Lakers offense relevant again. Again great work on LFR.
It is low. I'm mostly working with mostly 720p raw footage these days and then zooming in to 150% - 175%on most plays so the viewer can see what I'm talking about. I wish I had better raw footage to work with but I don't, and I'm also making a conscious decision to zoom in. Sorry it's gonna be a blurry year of LFR. Just want you to know that it bothers me too and if you have any suggested workarounds, I'm all ears.
No actually. It’s like the draymond bs is actually legal. If you read the specific wording of the screen rules, it implies that the screener is entitled to the same space as the defender. So if the defender is going around the screener can move with them. However if the defender goes straight into to body of the screener and the screener is moving, than it’s a moving screen. So it’s up to the defender to create enough contact that the distinction goes from entitled to same space to moving screen.
I'm with you on the Herro comp, he's a name I've thought of too, although he's a little stronger than Herro and Herro has more ball-handling chops. I think Booker is a little beyond Dalton's ceiling mostly because of the defensive end (Book has more ball-handling too) but I do think Dalton could eventually be a 25 ppg guy who's passable on defense, which is usually the type of player who makes a couple of All-Star games in their career.
Quick suggestion, Pete: add the word "on" after the "and" when you say "you can support me on Patreon and (on) Buy Me a Coffee." I had to do a double take the first few times I heard you say it, because I thought you were literally asking for coffee. I bet I'm not the only one.
Haha appreciate the heads up, it's funny how you can say something a hundred times and miss how it comes across when people don't hear it the same way you do. I'll make that change, good lookin out thank you.
So glad you’re back to TH-cam, easily one of the best lakers creator. Just basketball gameplay is just so nice
one of the best basketball creators period! 🔥
Breath of fresh air. Its comical how good dalton is and how aware of situations.
dude isnt a rookie out there. dont mind his below avg defense. he makes up for it.

not flo but reaves yes
this video aged well, he just had a crazy shooting night tonight vs jazz
The Westside Knecht! Balling for the lake show!!!
Insightful analysis as always, Pete. Gives us more to notice in upcoming games. Excited for Dalton to continue to develop. Could be a difference maker.
this will be fun to watch for years to come :P
Jason was right, no one breaks down Lakers film quite like you. Thanks for the awesome content!

Thanks Pete for a good piece, I always like to hear it from a Laker perspective. ❤
Reaves reads DK very well and throws him some really nasty passes 👌🏾

Again great work on LFR.
really like the timing and flow of his legs swaying forward on his shot. very smooth and replicable. can't believe he fell to the lakers.
Thanks! This was cool to watch. Dalton is good!
🙏.. thank you!!! Was just asking for this...
hope he continues to improve his passing and defense. so much potential
Been waiting in this, like Christmas 🎄
Dalton cookin' with the Lakers
Welcome back sir!
Watching this i remembered one clip that kobe (RIP) did on espn i think? Analyzing a play. Awesome work bro! Keep it up 🎉
You’re the man homie 💯💪🏿
Dalton has been a great player so far for the purple and gold
Crazy draft steal y’all
He and AR are keepers alongside the two stars. Hope they are laker lifers.
Ar, AC, and DK4 😩 I wish AC never left
Let’s go!
love your stuff boss, seems like your resolution is really low on your videos, would be a huge fix

Good / Athletic enough to be finisher.
i gave rui / vando / gabe and Draft assets for and elite two-way wing this team will be good.
That deal is never happening and would destroy our depth regardless.
A day after this video 9/12 from three, 37 points vs Jazz
How he’s starting to catch a rhythm. The dudes a great shooter. Did you miss preseason and the season summer league?
Laaaakers
Bruh he just went crazy how you know???? What’s yo parlay ??
DK reminds me of the early phase KD had as a Rookie
Dalton has gotten used to the pro game which is a lot faster than college. When the game slows down, he will be even better.
Houston getting sheppard instead of dalton is hilarious.
Bro just one thing. He shoots with the people in his face.
Hit us with another Short !
Maybe ur favorite play from the Road Trip ?
This my 3rd time watching this
DK is who Max Christie was expected and paid to be lol. I guess its the best of both worlds
I do blame Larvin Scam for christies stunt in growth
5:05 is this not a moving screen ?!

Dalton Knecht comp is Klay Thompson
Well what we see is another new Generation of Steph Curry,,
Meanwhile in Bronnyville
Thoughts 💭 on these Knecht Comparisons:
1) Current - Taller/More Athletic Version of Tyler Herro.
2) Ceiling - Taller Version of Devin Booker.
Interesting
I'm with you on the Herro comp, he's a name I've thought of too, although he's a little stronger than Herro and Herro has more ball-handling chops.

@@LakerFilmRoom - Agreed/Fosho!!!
No better coach than JJ Reddick for him.
Elon would be proud 😂
Dalton is probably the first Rookie Lebron loves to play with. He’s older and has high Basketball IQ

Lakers you finally have a basketball coach don't let LBJ ruin it
hes lbjs boy so...
STEAL OF THE DRAFT!!!!!!!
Trade for Caruso and we're set.
