For alternate leaders, 100% imo. They’re so cheap compared to english. All other cards though? I say buy in English. I’m sure stuff like Boahancock and Kid are already creeping up.

Doesn’t their website say that this ban affects all regions April 1st?

following up with this, Gavin (one of the OP Japanese Commentators) said no global ban until set 07. SO I think that's just Japan (for now).

Hahaha nami getting better. Thats a fantastic joke. Nami autoloses to op06 cards and if you do see any of the few cards nami does absolutely nothing including in op07.
I find it hard to believe that Nami "autoloses" to op06 cards when a guy won 5 of the 6 flagships he entered in OP06 (source: onepiecetopdecks.com/jp-op6-ferdinan-won-5-flagships-with-blue-nami-deck/) Is it tier 1 in op06 or op07? nah. Is it viable enough to play, enjoy, & do well if you main the deck? yea
@@atrocioustcg this is because no one is actually using the cards that stop the deck. Gion is a perfect example of a card that single handedly shuts down nami effortlessly and its an easily splashable 2k into any blie deck. Nami autoloses to thsi card as they lose their hand if they activate events. Nami does not play removal so they do nkt have an out to it. Gecko Moria can be another issue but this is mostly dependent on if you can get the hand loop cards to have opponent discafd their entire hand.
@@kevinflack7036 what sakazuki deck is playing Gion? Sure, that’s a good card against Nami. But we’ve never seen that card in any Saka deck on this channel in any of the top lists of the OP06 majors. Why would Nami worry about this card if nobody played it?
@@atrocioustcg nobody is playing gion despite the fact that it is a navy card. Its splashable but japanese meta definitely is not the same as american so I guess america will find out when we get op06. Sakazuki on its way out will change things. If someone does play it though nami just enters scoop phase.
@@kevinflack7036 if optcg was a best of 3 format, it would totally be a sideboard option, but I can't see people putting that card in their deck just for the nami matchup. But at the same time, it is a Navy 2k counter which is pretty good already.
