Hey Rito, when you have a left/right choice, and the meters are filling so fast, you can stop them by pushing the direction again. So like: Left to start the left choice, and the left again stops the meter.

you can also hit b/circle and it'll cancel progress on both.
Tipp: You can instantly make the dough if you put the flour in the sink.
Flour + sink + oil = round dough
And if you get a mixer you can automatically process most ingredients.
As a an actual cook this series gives me such work anxiety lol. That being said I love this series and really hope it sticks around! Great stuff Reto ❤️
Hey reto, I have two tips:
At the start of the pizza run there were times where you were either making more pizzas than you would need for the day or you were just doing nothing. In these cases the booking desk is very useful for getting extra money since it instantly calls in the next customer and gives you coins for that.
Also as far as I know (though I'm not 100% sure), the theme you choose for the restaurant only gets you bonuses, not penalties. For instance the "affordable" one you took here _allows_ you to serve faster, but you don't _need_ to serve any faster than before
The anticipation of waiting for you to realize the cheese was poorly positioned was just delicious haha
I think the Instant Orders was the better way to go for your setup, Reto. Cheese Board just added so much extra complexity, and Instant Orders was *basically* what you were already doing but without the risk of messing up the order.
You might want to experiment with interacting with stations/supplies while holding things, this game has more quality of life than you'd expect.
Another thing you might want to know is that you have 2 "equipment slots" for feet and hands, the hand slot does not count as holding an ingredient or food item with exception of the mob which does not allow you to carry something else along with it.
Great series, seeing the struggle and improvement over time is always nice.
I watched your recent cake stream, and this reminds me of that, except with tons of additional stress. But I like how you roll with the punches and just keep going with different options to show off more of the game! It makes it exciting to watch.
I love this series! It really changes everything when your space is very limited or the kitchen is shaped differently to previous runs. Super fun to watch, I hope it does well.
decorations no longer go by proximity like in the demo, instead now they work based off collective points from how many you have. so, you can put them anywhere and the bonus would still apply, you just need a handful of them

You are doing well since you are alone and here are some tip
The robot buffer will be more useful in the kitchen since it's useless for it to buffer the room
You can use metal table (which are a upgrade of the dining table) they will allow you to ignore side dish
If you want to look at a channel that do a lot of plate up you can go to "stumps" they are quite good at it
I was worried the robot buffer had collision and would thus mess me up in the kitchen, does it not?

pro tip for pizza, you can skip kneading the dough by adding water (from the sink), and you can put the oil in the sink so all you have to do to create a pizza dough base is double interact on that sink. interferes with washing dishes, but ends up being time efficient in the mornings and once you get a second sink
I hope you get the Portioner since it's extremely helpful for pizza and/or broc. Unfortunately, space is your biggest issue at the moment. Not sure where you can fit it in without turning your island into a pennisula. A danger hob for cooking the broc would be good too, since brocolli can't burn in this game.
Maybe you could swap your kitchen and dining areas, and just have your guests walk though the doors to sit down. As long as you don't put any cooking or sink appliance too close to their tables, you won't get any debuffs.
One more Quality of Life tip: there is a game settings option that lines up all the blueprint envelopes outside the restaurant each time. It makes seeing your new blueprints, re-rolling them, and rearranging your kitchen much less cluttered and difficult.
Tips
1. You can combine oil and dough while holding dough(press on oil)
2.You can take pizza pieces while holding a plate
3. You can put pizza base on cooking surface and it won't start cooking until you add sauce and topping
4. You can cook pizza on hob
5. Some items can have different upgrades(hob can upgrade into either fast hob or safe hob, sink can upgrade into either auto sink or washdisher(wash up to 4 plates) and this washdisher also upgrades into auto washdisher)
My favorite setup is auto washdisher + 8 plates(8 plates is not an upgrade, they are just in shop. The plates you already have in kitchen is 4 plates for some reason)

I think you're missing how the themes work, they're Set Bonus based, not proximity based. You need three points of each theme to activate its bonus, not to put the items near tables.

Playing solo, it almost seems better to have the restaurants with small dining rooms and big kitchens. Kinda reminds me of those IRL places that are like hole in the walls or even food trucks.
