Small piece of feedback for this video: I appreciated you introducing routes as "this orange v4" or "this yellow v7". Sometimes it's hard to gauge the difficulty of a route just watching you climb it through a screen; it's really helpful having the context of "oh this move should come a bit easier due to this grade" or "oh this move will take a lot more practice since it's a few levels higher than my current ability". I know there's a ton of nuance to routes and climbs and grades, but taking the extra second or two to describe a route with its grade was at least really helpful to me personally.
Thank you for the great vids, i start climbing at a age of 35, two years ago, your channel was the first I follow to learn more about movement and technic. You helped me a lot. I have to say thank you so much and I wish you happy Christmas 🎄 🙂
Your way of explaining the moves and techniques are really good. I started 3 years ago with 31 years and now I'm in a 7b (V8) level in bouldering. Your videos has been my main font of knowledge in my first steps. Please don't stop making this videos
Your detailed and various scaling principles are tremendously inspiring and helpful! It really encourages to try and experiment instead of giving up entirely moving to the next boulder project ❤
I appreciate the way you approach climbing. It's so smart & strategic! You don't just tell people to get stronger, but instead provide insights for problem-solving that are transferrable to other sports or even to work-related problems. Thank you!
So kinda like approaching it like a difficult math problem: cut it into smaller problems and solve each of them separately, then bring them all together.
This! 💯 I find it super encouraging. It can feel overwhelming to try new and harder routes and breaking them down into sections really helps me to work on a project.
bro your videos are so helpful and enjoyable, I started climbing about a month ago, and due to some of your videos I can climb some v5s that are in my gym. keep up the good work.
Hey i appreciate your videos! Would you consider making an item about route reading? As a beginner (4 months in) i am struggling alot with this. Does this skill come with time or is there an interesting philosophy to this?
I am abit confused because I have seen people saying it took them a few weeks to break into v3's but I went bouldering for the first time 4 days ago and I already managed to complete a couple v3's and was even trying v4's (which was unsuccessful) is this normal to be able to do or do I need to find a better place to go to?
Indoors at least that’s fairly normal. It depends on how fit you are before. Most people generally seem to stop progressing as quickly around V4-V6 I notice
Movement for Climbers: approach climbs like a mathematical problem, solving individual steps to arrive at the solution systematically. Me: get on the wall and see what happens.
Started climbing in July of this year, just got my 4th V6, working toward my goal of V12 by the end of my first year of climbing, not sure I’m going to make it but your videos are fuckin awesome and super helpful!
Climbing for me is easy, solving HOW to climb difficult problems is the tough part for me, as always your videos are a huge help! I hope we can collab sometime!

The way the cerebral and physical aspects come together in climbing is super rewarding. I love the approach this channel takes
